Very true. I had a good time with SO3's battle system but that game did leave me empty inside. I hope this iteration of Valkyrie Profile can pack the same emotional punch that the original VP did.

Hope it´s true and it´s 2D Hi-res graphic, the first Valkyrie Profile was awesome in lot of aspects, including the artistic one. There has been great works with 3D lately, but for this game I would love it a "ultra" version of what they did in the first one more than a reinvention. There are other chances to ve creative all.

Finally an RPG I can get excited about.. The original is among my 3 favorite RPGs ever.

Hopefully it plays as well as the original. They better add the ability to skip cutscenes to improve replay value.. SO3 had that so Im hopeful.

Pictures of her can be seen in the Valkyrie Profile Material Collections book, but this particular one was never in there. So I highly doubt it's fake.

Holy Shit. Holy Shit. HOLY FUCKING SHIT. A day I thought I would not soon see; cold hard facts that VP 2 does exist. Words cannot begin to describe my sense of elation. This is the kind of news I like to wake up to!

Of course with these kinds of announcements, there always comes questions of the game's quality. Well, I am not going to indulge in those right now. Here's hoping it's every bit as brilliant as the original.

Those who haven't played the original need to do so quickly. Not only to prepare for the sequel but just for the fact that it is one of the best RPG's, at least IMHO.

Hey you're right! I just checked my Materials Collection and it refreshed my memory. She's not a new Valkyrie...

She's the one that was captured in Bram's castle and you had to fight to rescue her in Ending A's route. I completely forgot about that!

This makes me wonder if the game is indeed a SEQUEL or a PREQUEL or if it's a complete story from Silmeria's point of view like VP was from Lenneth's.
