This is not an epic thread. It is not a complicated thread. Nor is it a clever thread.

It is a thread about a video that shows what happens if you throw a brick into a spinning washing machine. I think it is awesome. You may too.

Its hypnotic, powerful and magical. Watch the Youtube video for the full sound and fury.

I can die a happy man after seeing that.

Do you think you'd get similar results if you tossed a hockey puck into Rush Limbaugh's mouth?
:lol

I'm always amazed that we can put food into that thing and it's still edible afterward without giving us cancer or something.

I like to put my face up close and stare at the food going in circles. I think I might get cancer of the face in the future.

Why is there smoke/steam coming out the top even before the brick is tossed in? Did they modify the motor to spin faster, or is it actually a dryer?

It's just radio waves that make water molecules spin and generate friction, they don't remain in the food either.

Damn . . . what brand is that? Pretty damn reliable. I'm amazed how long it kept going.

Of course, it could use a better "out of balance" detector but I suspect it had one and they short-circuited that to get it to go nuts.

it took me years to finally warm up food in a microwave. And i still don't fucking trust it.

you know, that's always how I imagined it'd be like if robots were to have sex.

My take - its how some companies would ideally like their DRM to work. You try to install the Homebrew on Wii2/PS4/XB3, console does a merry little dance as all its parts fly off and then falls over spasming into electronic death.

That's an awesome sight to see.

The brick is thrown inside and the washing machine effectively kills itself.

That's all well and good, but what about a top loading washing machine?

I like how the controls get busted up first.
Must be like how in Star Trek, if the transporters go offline, a control panel on the bridge will explode.
