That last bit: "It doesn't matter what the troops think, it matters what you think" really stuck in Rumsfeld's craw--you can catch his jaw clenching as the other speaker lets us know that the "debate" is over.

Pretty amazing stuff considering the length of the exchange and the civility of it. Of course, Rummy didn't have any answers but it was nice to see him mention Powell almost immediately since he's as bulletproof on both sides as you can get. Good job.

yeah that was pretty sad. In the UK the guy would have gotten cheered by the media and it would have been headline news. At least one guy complained when they tried to remove the questioner
