Yoshida said why in podcast beyond. The pr team decide that.
The PR team should be fired then. When mainstream websites are asking "where was the Vita", there's no way you're coming out of it unscathed.

This is already out for all users in the UK, is it not out in the US?Played frobisher says while I was at e3...
I loved it, so quirky. The chick said they are having it as a free download for PS Vita sometime in the summer, can't wait.
Oh, I think every PS3 game that can be given life on both platforms should, at least if it's feasible and as easy to do as Sony claims it is. I just think that a thread that seems reactionary to the "Vita is doomed" vibe of GAF is pretty weakly countering said vibe with games that can be found elsewhere.

Still don't think you should get your hopes up.
Yeah, mistake like "we're not ready to reveal it." There is no reason they wouldn't bring this over.

I'm sure they will if it succeeds on the PS3, just not anytime soon.
I'm still wondering how they could give the Vita so little time.... but I assume Jack and Yoshida are mad
Are you happy with the Vitas first showing at E3?
Well, actually, I got lots of tweets to my account complaining that there werent many PS Vita games being talked about. In retrospect, we shouldve spent more time showing and talking about our PS Vita titles.
We have 25 PS Vita games playable on the show floor, some of which are really great titles Im very excited about. We could have spent more time talking about those, but we had a very clear intention this year to make the total press conference shorter, because were notorious for holding lengthy ones.
I hope we accomplished that with this years conference (which I think lasted about 80 minutes), but from the perspective of people who are waiting for more information on Vita titles, we werent able to provide that.
Im hoping that journalists are looking at the games on the show floor and getting the word out that way.
It's fairly telling about how serious SCEA is taking this platform when every single one of their upcoming Vita games also has a PS3 version.
I'm a fan of cross-play, saves, and cross-talk. I guess I don't mind the parity.
honestly, I'm not sure what difference it would make if Sony showed that sizzle reel or do a couple demo of vita games in the press conference. there are a lot of games on show floor and sizzle reel, but really, most of it is already announced or known. if they spent time showing demo of those games, it's probably met with 'meh' reaction because the press is hoping for new unannounced big games for Vita.
I wouldn't mind the parity alongside exclusive content. Right now we're only getting parity from SCEA, and while that's great for owners of both devices, it's hard for someone who doesn't own a Vita to say they want to jump in.
Would you say that LittleBigPlanet & Gravity Rush aren't unique enough? LBP, while an established franchise, has a lot of unique features and a completely new campaign for the platform, and GR is an entirely new IP. Would continued games like those two abate those kind of worries?

Part of the problem was they actually cut their conference time down (discussed in this interview from MCV)

Dude, what the hell!? You forgot Ragnarok Odyseey, Persona 4, Snapshot, Guacameele, Final Fantasy X HD, Phantasy Star Online 2, Sly 4, Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, Retro City Rampage and Z.O.E HD.

None of those games are from SCEA. The entirety of SCEA's Vita lineup is also part of SCEA's PS3 lineup.

don't ever change, man...
so, unique entries of existing series (uncharted, resistance) isn't enough - you want some original scea-produced vita-exclusive ips? well, i can't remember a whole lotta them for the psp, either, but it never got in my way, particularly. sure, it'd be nice, but there's more than enough other stuff already here or coming (from whomever) to keep some of us happy. sorry it makes you sad/mad...
Awesome! thanks.
Sf vs Tekken is looking really really good. Hyped for that one
