I don't know anything about her other than she's pretty hot and all the gaf gifs... wouldn't go out of my way to watch her NBC show but she doesn't really bother me on TDS, and I have a feeling if they keep her on she'll improve.

I don't understand the Munn hate. I think she has good rapport with Kevin Pereira (who I also think is under-rated). It doesn't seem like her interest in "nerd" things is faked. She's far nicer than most actresses who get worshiped by geeks. I don't imagine she sits around playing video games all day long, but that might fall into the 'be careful what you wish for' category. She seems smart and fun. I think if she showed up in the "Post your girlfriend" thread, she'd be fawned over. More power to her that a shitty show like AOTS can be a springboard to greater things.

She was terrible on AOTS but the whole show was bad overall. It was always cringe worthy seeing them forcing terrible jokes all the time. As for TDS, her comedic timing and robot-like acting are just terrible but since it's usually short segments, I don't really mind.

Yep she sure is, and after 13 episodes when it's cancelled, she'll be begging for her job on AOTS back, but she won't be able to since her spot is already filled.

Many attractive people have been given jobs in the media because they are talented, but not necessarily because they share interest in the material they are presenting. Usually I think people can detect the lack of interest in the material, but Olivia was either interested enough, or was a good enough actor, to make people believe she was a bigger geek than she really is. I think DeaconKnowledge is right; men thought she was both pretty and a big geek, when in reality she may just be pretty and a little anti-social, so their hopes of finding a model who likes Halo as much as they do were dashed yet again.adamsappel said:

I thought all her lines landed with a thud. Her delivery was flat and off kilter. She would always kind of pause briefly in the middle of lines like she wasn't sure how to deliver them. Her voice would modulate weirdly, like she'd read how to be funny out of an instruction book. It takes a lot of natural comedic timing and ability to hang on that show, and I don't think she really has it, at least not in that style.
