This sorta sounds like a double standard. I don't run around telling everyone I like watching Japanese cartoons, but if someone asks I'd (probably) tell them the truth. There is "tasteful anime" for adults just like there are "tasteful video games" for adults.

Yeah, to be honest it would just take a few minutes of removing posters to make the house look respectable.
I don't watch a lot of anime, but the animation in those posters is pretty cool/slick. But considering that they look like a bunch of underage girls, I would not have them plastered all over my room like that >_<
