the old lesser of two evils argument. haha, doesn't really motivate you to leave your house to go vote though, does it?

Seems like a lot of people did wake up, and realized Obama's pretty much the same as the rest of 'em.

That said he's going to coast to an easy victory, and I don't want Romney anyway :P

Big Brother reading late at night, Mother and Father watching television instead of being in bed, Sister on Facebook at midnight...I'm guessing they don't have anything to do in the morning because they're unemployed. Seems to me that they should actually vote for the candidate who can fix that.

Actually, thanks to the labor movement, America has weekends.

I lol'd tho

Did you not watch the video?

I did watch it. SMJ telling me, "no big brother they're totally different" doesn't convince me.

Also, :lol at the constant "this is the most important election ever!" which is trotted out during EVERY ELECTION EVER.

It's a slightly amusing ad, and I like SMJ, but yeah, whatever.

Hard to take anything Jackson says when he openly admitted the only reason he voted for Obama in the first place was because he was black.

You always vote for the lesser of two evils.

But what if the right choice is not to choose at all.

Loved the ad. You don't have to like Obama to get a few laughs out of it.

Also, Sam Jackson needs to be the star of an Ouendan/Elite Beat game.

Troll harder.

No. I don't.

This commercial was an embarrassingly poor attempt to market to me. It makes me feel gross.

I was laughing throughout the video, it was some good comedy work. But it had little effect on my mind regarding Obama, hell it may have lessen my faith in him.

"Vote for Obama became Romney is crazy" is not really an argument that appeals to me. Sure, I won't vote for Romney, but why should I vote for Obama?
This.... I don't even

Also Obama is not the "lesser of two evils". Yeah, he didn't fix the economy in less than 4 years, no president could. He's a better choice.

Have a nice weekend, too.

I want Romney to win just for the hell of it. Look at them comments in there, let's see what an amazing future 'Murica has.

Wow, that was terrible.

I obviously support Obama 100%, but if this was a Romney video you'd be ripping into it like there's no tomorrow.
It's really just a cringe-worthy, embarrassing piece of propaganda. There are much better, classier ways to get the message across.

Yeah I would, because I don't support his policies. Why is this a surprise?

I'm worried about the prospect of Romney winning and all, but even if you're SLJ or Obama, you do NOT interrupt an old man's erection, that's just not right.

Paid for by the Jewish Council for education and research?

Yes, so what... Groups are allowed to buy and make ads. There is nothing wrong with them funding this ad and I do not see why you have trouble with this ad because a specific group financed it?

They probably paid for ads on the other side too.

Okay I wanted to post in this topic to address this, you have no proof that this specific group/organization does this.
Going to the groups website it is abundantly clear that they have endorsed and are solely supporting President Obama's reelection campaign.

I know some banks finance both candidates to get what they want passed but it is disengenious to assume all groups follow suit and a trip to said group's website would further cement the group as being a soley President Obama supporting group.

The primary donor, is the son of George Soros. George Soros is a strong supporter of the Democratic party and a philanthropist.
"Soros continues to donate to political causes as well. In March of 2012 he donated $200,000 to the Jewish Council for Education and Research, the organization behind 2008's "Great Schlep" in support of then-candidate Barack Obama."

Furthermore, this thread is about the ad itself and not the donors/group behind said ad.
Pretty interesting video that deserved it's own thread. I must admit that I personally need to do more to help Obama during this campaign, I got busy with school, but I cannot afford to not help him win this election.

The ad might be somewhat effective but probably only in driving people who are Democrats.
