Walmart.com: 360 in stock, NO BUNDLES

It wouldnt be so bad if we could get the same answer from both Walmart and APX,but they both seem to be on different planets.

just like everything in this thread, it is real. if you order it you will be charged $400 in shipping and over $800 for everything.

Just to clarify...none who got screwed by the APX/USPS fiasco has received an update beyond APX has the shipping manifest?

I'm still perplexed by the whole USPS tracking number APX supplies. I'd think it'd be in the system after two days. Yes, I've had USPS packages arrive before without tracking, but they were all one day shippings.
 
the usps has now been "notified to expect" my package. but if walmart have physically shipped some of these orders through ups, fed ex, etc., then i suppose it's just a matter of time before the apx shipments go through. my card's been charged too.

Mine updated very recently -- probably within the last half hour. Maybe they are getting things sorted out over there.
 
This bascially means that APX better give our packages over to USPS soon...I want APX no where near my 360.

Looks like we wont be getting them tomorrow like the fed ex/ups people,but atleast we know they have our systems in hand and ready to go out.

My USPS data was updated as well. I'm going to have a god damned XBOX 720 by the time we get this thing.

I requested usps to give me shipping updates via email and was sent this...

Shipment Activity Location Date & Time

Now to count the days it takes for Apx to actually give usps our packages.
 
My USPS info was changed, too. Now it seems that they're expecting my package to be delivered to them, so they can turn around and deliver it to me. I love that logic.
 
Two questions:
1.) Why is APX being used as a middle man at all if the things are coming USPS?
2.) How does it take two days to handoff packages for shipment?

I'm not concerned when I get the 360 -- I'm on Thanksgiving holiday. But I remain skeptical that these aren't phantom boxes.

I am sure it's just cheaper that way somehow.

I'm guessing they take 360s from Walmart's shipping center before they are boxed up and labelled for shipping and then do the boxing and labelling instead of Wal Mart before sending them on via USPS.

Correct,they are a cheaper 3rd party middle man or some sorta of shit ass version of USPS and then they pass the product on to your local postal office to deliever it when it hits your city.

Is it when it hits our local city? Meaning your Xbox is in NYC right now and is going to be handed off to the post office by APX. Or is it still in Tennessee and the Post office needs to send it from there to NYC. Does APX or USPS ship the actual trip from TN to NY?
 
I think its still in TN,it will then be moved via ground APX trucks *I could be wrong* and then handed off to your local usps who will then bring it to your home.

Again I could be completely wrong,I have never had any online orders do this before.


or maybe APX just brings them to a local TN usps place and they will ship them out.....so damn confusing.

What I do is take the packages from Walmart and hand them off to the Post Office.

The optimist in me is trying to say that the APX packages are now being readied to give to our local offices since it took so damn long to get to this point. I do not believe this to be true.

Like I said earlier in this thread from the start,APX/Walmart are known for horrible tracking methods and its come true.

Honestly just cause the lastest update says its in TN,doesnt mean its still there.
 
My post office is right down the street. If they're gonna drive it hundreds of miles down here, why don't drive a couple blocks down the street and drop it off at my home? :lol Naw, that'd make too much sense. Thanks Walmart.
 
I still cant believe I have a package from walmart in my home,yet my order status page is still showing its processing and not scheduled to ship till the 25th via ground....I havent been charged and the cancel button is still on the page...hmmmm :lol

Well I sent an email earlier today to APX and received the following email tonite:

Dear Customer,

In regards to your email, our shipping takes approximately 7 - 10 business days from the time we receive it at our facility to be delivered. We received the electronic manifest on the 19th, but have not yet received the physical package. If you have any questions please feel free to email me and I will answer the best I can.

Thank you

Arrgh. Glad I went with Costco also for a 360. My friend will have to wait until his arrives.

Do you know how pissed I will be if these guys went through these multiple steps of confirmation emails, tracking numbers etc. only to find out that it was all bs. Online companies can't really be that stupid can they?
