Walmart having a labor day sales on TVs

Oh man. I may have to waste some money for this >_<

Thank you so much, OP (even if I don't end up buying anything)

Was able to order the 46" for pick up. Employee tried to give me a hard time but was able to walk out with the tv for under 250.

I imagine in store will be a hassle with more people getting in on this deal.

It's legit.

Walmart is just terrible at pricematching their own site. Happens all the time.

I can vouch for that. It's the source of endless frustration for us. Customer always bitching because the price online is not the same in store.

Do you know why that is? A manager at one walmart near said that every manager tends to enforce policies as they please. Is that true?

There is only one model available in my area and it's the cheapest one and I don't want it.

So thanks for getting my hopes up OP. :'(

I am making a generalized statement; I know nothing of these specific TVs.

However, I would highly recommend that, if possible, you do not skimp out on a TV. They are something that you will be looking at all the time, and I absolutley could not ever go back to a low end TV. Please consider your purchase carefully.

I've been wanting to go from 32" to 42" for some time & $200 sounds like a GREAT deal. Gonna have to see if I can afford it.

If I were to buy one, how soon should I do it? I've never ever done the price match thing so if I were to do it, I'd have to wait until morning because I don't have a printer in my apartment.

-shrugs- I've never asked. Our standard go to answer is "Don't believe everything you see online". My theory: Walmart is very poorly organized.

Have you not read my name? Bit i would take your job in a second. Its at least in air conditioning.

It's not bad. Electronics is probably the only department in Walmart with employees who actually do their job. Though YMMV depending upon Walmarts.

Really soon. In store may or may not go well.

I ordered online for instore pickup as soon as I saw this deal. By the time i got home from pick up, it was no longer available for shipping or in store pick up.

Damn $200 for that vizio? Fuck I might have to go buy this now if my roommates want to split it with me.

I've heard mostly good things about Vizio, any gaffers want to steer me away from them?

Decent bargain brand, but for $200 you really can't go wrong.

Wanna trade jobs? Does being out on 116 degree heat bother you? I can promise you one thing. It raises charisma and negotiating ability.

BLACK FRIDAY IN AUGUST.

I don't need a TV but happy hunting to those that do. Great deals, just in time for football season and new consoles.

yeah, take the printout to price match it but with slickdeals and fatwallet users on it. These are going fast.

Vizios are good not great but for $200, it is really really good

Last time I tried to get them to match an online price (even their own!) they wouldn't do it. Has the policy changed? This was about a year and a half ago.

The problem with Walmart is they barely have anything in stock and their product numbers are always different from their online products. Hell I remember years ago one Walmart wouldn't even price match another freaking Walmart.

My question too. I'm about to send my brother to get one at a 24 hour store and i don't want to send him on a goose chase.

Will it work if I show them the ad on my phone?

edit: Maybe I should go to Walmart and just by a freakin printer. lol I've needed one for a while anyway

If this works out, OP you're my hero. I'm moving next week and need a tv. Grabbed a 47" Vizio that is only in stock about an hour's drive away. Hopefully pickup goes smoothly.
