Walmart having a labor day sales on TVs

These are quite....lower end tvs, still at that price and size it's nothing really to complain about, I paid nearly 2 grand in 2007 for a 40inch 1080p, which would fall in line probably with these tvs now in performance in retrospect if not be exceeded by them since some of them are 120Hz tvs.

How do you even order this thing? I see this

Click add to cart, then I see this:

As if I didn't have enough reasons to be pissed about having to spend a grand to get my car fixed this week.

Ahhh well, passed along to some friends. Thanks OP.

Why so small? I'm looking to get the 70 inch Vizio. But probably have to wait until black friday. I have a 46 now and it's too damn small.

It's not bad. Electronics is probably the only department in Walmart with employees who actually do their job. Though YMMV depending upon Walmarts.

This is the honest truth. Good luck getting anyone to mix a can of paint or change your tire at my wal-mart. Also, good luck finding someone in the grocery aisles to ask a question.

The Deli is usually really good at customer service though.

Last time I tried to get them to match an online price (even their own!) they wouldn't do it. Has the policy changed? This was about a year and a half ago.

It is their policy but it all depends on the managers. Some will honor their policy and some won't for whatever reason.

of course the electronic department workers were gone when i called, some over night stocker picked up and said he would try and see if they were in stock. 20 minutes later, i just hung up. no way it takes that long to look for 2 tvs.
if someone buys one i'll kiss you if you send it to me

it was like the wild west. walmart exists on a different plane than the rest of the united states. it's an insane self-sustaining economy and small town built to get you savings.

My initial order just got cancelled - said they didn't have it in stock after all. I just tried placing another order from a Walmart also about an hour away. Come onnnnn.

oh shit i found a 24 hour store with the 47" vizio in stock, should i go for it or is it not worth it knowing the LG is the same price?

i would rather not wait for black friday but i will if this isnt a great deal

I kinda feel bad, but, I'm going to nab me one of those TVs before anyone else does. We do have a few in stock. ^_^;;

Overnight stockers dont know shiiiit. They don't even stock properly. It's best to call in the morning when it's not busy. How the fuck do they even have a job is beyond me, but, it's maddening to come in the morning and see shiit out of order because the overnights fucked up shit.

It's pretty bad at my Walmart. Customers always coming and yelling at me to open a case in another department because some asshole associate is doing god knows what. I've been here like what a month and to this day I still have never seen any associate in some departments.

I just almost bought that 42 Vizio since it was an hour away from me... I don't even need a TV. What's wrong with me? :( Anyways, decided not too. Fuck driving an hour to and then another back.

I seriously think I'm going to keep one on hand. If anyone asks, I'll just say we're out of stock. Daddy needs a new TV for his birthday...

Good news: I drove to walmart and they have it.

Bad news: My card was declined. Probably because I haven't made such a large purchase since moving.

Oh well. Maybe it's fate.

Fake edit: Forgot about writing checks. lol. Hopefully in 30 minutes I'll have it

I got a nice Asus Laptop cheap 200. Barely a month old comes Preinstalled with Windows 8 figured I would try seeing how everyone is spending money....Oh and a Nook Tablet flashed with Android 4.2.2 for 100. Come on GAF help a member out....

Fuck. Just drove 15 mins to the one Walmart in my city only to find out they close at 8, instead of 10 which it says on their website. I'll check tomorrow but I bet that LG is gone.

Looking for the LG tv for hours...haha . This thread + Slick deals driving me nuts. Think I am giving up. You guys think bestbuy would price match this if I found the tv there?

What's the difference between 60hz and 120 hz? Is it important enough to drop the extra $100? I'm kind of stripped for cash right now, barely have enough to afford the TV. I'm buying a new TV for my Xbox One anyways, so might as well do it now.

So what is the difference between 120 hz and 60 hz?

Just got back from WalMart. OMG. Fate was really giving me a hard time. I tried to use a check, but that wasn't being honored either. Fortunately, using the check prompted a 1-800 number to call, which I did, and after being on the phone for a little bit, they lifted the block on my account and allowed me to purchase it.

Apparently, my Walmart has 1 more 47 inch Vizio (they never had any LGs to begin with, and I didn't inquire about any other TV/size).

Thanks again, OP!
for making me waste money, lol

(edit: 47 inch, not 42 inch)

Holy shit. I don't even have somewhere to put a TV right now but I feel like I can't pass up a $200 42" 1080p Vizio.

EDIT: Not available in stores near me ;_;
