Hey guys,

I don't know exactly what to do here. I bought a printer last week and half ago from walmart for college. Well everytime I try to something it does not printer correctly at all. Its all skewed. I've aligned through the HP utility about 5 times already to no avail. The only problem is that kind of lost the receipt of it as I was moving in, but I have all the information on my credit card. Do you guys think if I take it back for a return or bring online statement from my American Express, will Walmart take it back or I am stuck with defected or just an error prone printer.

So they won't give me any trouble returning the printer without a receipt. Thanks man.

hrmm you can probably get it, theres a policy and then theres...the policy if you wanna do a return for money..well you gotta do it at the store you bought it, they may be able to look up the receipt they are all stored on a computer. You gotta bring a credit card bill and such though. Its worth a try , just google the stores in your area and find that walmarts number, call them and tell em the situation. Honestly they have taken back stuff from just about any sob story so i like your chances of atleast getting an exchange.

Thank you for the support. Luckily I was able to find the receipt in my car. So the return was no problem at all...

As far as I know you dont need a recipt but you wont be getting cash back just store credit
