Real talk, I hope the budget on this is not massive - cause this is going to be a colossal flop. I don't mind the CG orcs, but the environment/backgrounds look video game as fuck. At least John Carter had CG characters on top of backgrounds that look realistic. This was just terrible.

I Think it's kind of hard to judge by this footage, especially since its just some cam footage. Will be interesting to see the orcs and humans in the same scene. I'm pretty confident this will look amazing.

The movie is live action, but the orcs (with the exception of Garona) are CGI. Draenor is also CGI due to it being an alien world.

The majority of the movie takes place in Azeroth, where real forests and some practical sets will be put to use.

It's funny to hear people say it looks like a video game cutscene when I've seen people calling for a blizzard movie in the vein of their CGs for ages. I think it looks a lot better than that, and it'll obviously be a lot different when actual people are added to the mix.

It's just nice to see a lot of focus on orcs. They're what made Warcraft special, a movie centered wholly around the humans wouldn't be much different from every other fantasy movie.

Cam footage usually helps rough CG look more realistic.

Floating camera and bad lighting doesnt improve with resolution.

Don't really see it below the $200 million mark to the say the least. Probably wouldn't worry about it being a colossal flop through. Warcraft is a very popular IP afterall.

The trailer focused on some pretty irrelevant plot points. It might have been shorter and tighter were it not for that. Whoever cut this trailer seems to come from a video game cut scene background as opposed to a film background.

I haven't been fully engaged by the series since Warcraft 2, but if this comes out looking decent I'll give it a whirl.

As far as I've heard its more akin to Avatar. I'm cautiously optimistic, the Warcraft story is cool enough to do a movie(s) over. I need high quality to really judge the orc CGI, but the writing seems... not incredible

I saw complete footage at Blizzcon 2014, it looked insane. It was half CG half live action but with every bit of polish you'd expect from a Blizzard cinematic. The footage here doesn't do their work justice. It's stunningly beautiful.
