Considering Waluigi has the exact same personality as Wario, I think they'ed run into some problems making the main two not feel like they're overlapping. All I hope is that the next M&L game doesn't try to cram as much content into itself as Dream Team does, there's no reason for there to be three final boss fights in a row, or a Dream World Maze with its own boss fight right after a real world maze with it's own boss fight. All in all though I wouldn't mind the idea of the M&L team working with the idea of more Mario characters and more teams, imagine DK randomly popping up or something. XD

eh no. Because I don't even like that dumb joke when they do that to luigi. And they don't even hang out that much to faciilitate that jokes existence, I'm not even sure the party and kart games are canon to what little canon that mario and wario have. Waluigi might not even exist outside of those games, and that dancing game. He might not even be a thing.

They could however just use the bunch of cool Wario Ware characters with actually personalities and create a unique story that utilizes them.

When am I getting Black Mage Ashley, and Monk Young Cricket. And Nine Volt as a summoner class, that summons other nintendo characters.

I want to say there was a Charles Martinet interview where he pitched his dream Waluigi game, where you had to cheat to win. I could see a mechanic like that being fun in an rpg, like being able to attack when it's not your turn, or poisoning enemies items.

If nintendo is listening and don't want to bet on their bizzaro characters carrying a whole game, wouldn't it be cool at least to make another Mario & Luigi rpg and have Wario & Waluigi doing some crazy stuff for half of it? You could alternate between the duos each chapter...sounds like a good way to ease people into this ridiculous pair...maybe have an insane switcheroo near the end where Mario gets stuck working Waluigi & Wario & luigi could screw things up together in the meantime.

So the only difference is that one is greedy and vulgar? Cause at least to me, they're both very similar on the surface. Don't get me wrong though, I do want to see the M&L games incorporate more Mario characters, maybe get to play as Peach next time instead of having to save her.

Maybe I'm wrong and don't know a lot about the two characters personalities, I rarely play as Waluigi, but I was talking about how they act, not how they look. They both seemed to have been created for the sole purpose of being the opposite of both Mario and Luigi, because of this they, again appear very similar in their ambitions and actions, to me. I think a rpg with them could work, but maybe as just side characters. Regardless there are other side Mario characters I'd like to see in a Mario rpg more-so than either Wario and Waluigi, though some of them would have to be changed slightly. Dasiy for example, could be quite an interesting character if she was a go-getter Buttercup like character, but I think that'd go against whatever tiny bit of personality she has.

Im in for it and also in for a Peach and Daisy RPG.

Super Princess Peach sequel would be cool but Daisy would inevitably be replaced by Rosalina.

I actually think the Mario & Luigi series would be the best way to utilise Nintendo's lesser characters in a non-party/sport context. Not as much sales pressure as having their own game, built on the back on an existing successful franchise, the humour and style would all fit well. I'd buy a Wario & Waluigi / Peach & Daisy RPG game.
