All good with me, they should take whatever time they need along with any other game that needs to be delayed due to what's happening right now.

I love Wasteland 2, probably a top 10 all time RPG, but Inxile has YET to release a game on time and in an acceptable state. I am a stock backer of the project and i have zero plans to buy this day one. It will not be a great game for at least a yr after release thats a fact.

What century are you living in? I was working from home non stop for the past 2 yrs. It easy as heck to collaborate on anything.

Depends on the industry, whether your company is set up for a fully remote workforce and whether the team you have are used to the rhythm of working from home.

But I'd say with the right tools software development is one of the industries that is best suited to a fully remote workforce. For example Moon Studios are a fully remote dev team AFAIK.

Not all cases are the same. Companies that are not remote first, got caught in the middle of this not being prepared to work from home.
Also, many game devs require 3 screens to work in optimal conditions, and not everyone has enough space of home.

I bought W2 but will probably not buy W3.

W2 was good-ish.
The first half of the game was very good.
The second half of the game was a super step down. Lower effort, lower quality, felt rushed, just nowhere as polished as the first half.
Second half took away a lot of the joy and praise I had for the game.

No problem, I will wait for the inevitable DC before I play this. Wastelands 2 DC was such a huge upgrade over vanilla that I regret playing it right at release. Goes for most RPGs released these days, sadly.

I've tried about half a dozen times to break into Wasteland 2, but I can never power through the first two or three hours. UnderRail spoiled me.

Yea, there's not much of a reason to play these big RPGs on release.

Not that I give a crap, as I have a lot of older games to play anyway.

I don't think it's the last game getting delayed. Stay safe people : )

It's going to be on GamePass if you having that.

How come they namedrop MS - is there a timed exclusive or some sort of relationship there? I assume it's still releasing on PS4

I assume it's because Xbox Games Studios owns inXile. They have since 2018.

And, yeah, I'm almost certain they confirmed it's still releasing on PS4.

I'm always for devs taking more time if necessary and getting a solid product out. It never hurts the game and 3 month delay is reasonable.

I just hope the game is good, I never played Wasteland but by August I might feel the need for that CRPG goodness.

I'm playing Wasteland 2 on Game Pass right now and enjoying it quite a bit. I just hope Wasteland 3 has better graphics (it looks like it will from the trailers) and fixes the shitty camera and inventory management.
