Tony-winning, album-recording Kristin Chenoweth does, indeed, have a very good voice.

Everybody loves it. It's one of the best shows on TV. (but there's only a few episodes leftZyzyxxz said:so whats the consensus on this show?
I had planned to watch it back when this thread started but forgot about it
Sadly, Pushing Daisies fans will need to prepare for the worst. According to TV Guide's Mega Buzz, the only big mystery that will be solved by the series' end is that of Emerson's missing daughter. Both Ausiello and Kristin Dos Santos from E! hinted that the Daisies finale will actually end with a cliffhanger or two!
Cornballer said:The finale meaning the last one that we see from S2 or the last one on the dvd for S2? There are three spare episodes that won't be broadcast on tv but will be on the dvd.
Wait... how do we know this?Memles said:They're referring to the 13th episode, which won't be seen until DVD.
We're only getting two more on TV. The rest (3 episodes, I think) will go on the S2 dvd.UraMallas said:Wait... how do we know this?

This should do the trick: We're getting closure, dammit! The series finale will no longer end on a cliffhanger, as I previously reported. Through the magic of post-production, Bryan Fuller and his team managed to tack on a completely new beginning and ending to the episode. "We're doing a lot of work in post to shape it so that it is satisfying for the audience," Fuller tells me. BTW, rumor has it ABC may burn off air Daisies' final three episodes on one night in early January. (Episode 9 airs tonight and 10 next week.)
I just had a friend turn to ABC and he saw some of the episode, which means it's only my local affiliate airing this fucking evangelical propaganda.Cornballer said:Hmmm, still listed on my TiVo schedule for 8pm tonight here on the West Coast. I guess I'll find out later if it's happening.
dead souls said:Makes sense. They're not going to want to air any episodes of a canceled show after the end of the year. I'll just Netflix the dvds when they come out.

Should be one more, at least until we hear what ABC wants to do with the final 3.KevinCow said:I liked how Olive's raincoat had olives on it and Emerson's had fish. :lol
Also, there wasn't a preview for next week. Was this the last one they're airing?

Kung Fu Jedi said:Great episode last night, but then again everyone who actually watches the show already knows how great it is. It's sad that it's going away soon. So many people have no idea what they've missed out on. Too smart and quirky for it's own good.
I did think that the first season. I was all expecting the normal TV audience to let me down and not watch the show but... it didn't happen that way. The rating were strong enough for a second season and it got some awards so I was pumped. This year the audeince just vanished and it really bums me out. If there was any show that was truly a victim of the writer's strike, it was Pushing Daisies.Battlezone said:I missed the last couple of episodes, and I'll plan on catching up when it comes out on DVD, but I have to ask: didn't you guys know this was coming back when the show premiered?
I distinctly remember reading about this show, and watching the pilot, and thinking, "great show, I loved the pilot, I'll love the show...which means it will get canceled after six episodes". So I watched the show without getting invested in it, because I figured it wasn't long for the TV world. And then when the strike happened, I figured that was definitely it for the show.
So I wasn't upset when it got cancelled, because it lasted far longer than I thought it would. And I think ABC gave it a fair shot-although I'll be interested to see what takes its place.

I didn't catch on to the raincoats right away because I just thought they were whatever. I thought it was cute that she had pies on Ned's coat though, but the fish on Emerson's didn't clue me in, then I spent several minutes trying to figure out what was on Olive's coat.KevinCow said:I liked how Olive's raincoat had olives on it and Emerson's had fish. :lol
