Watch_Dogs multiplayer gameplay footage revealed

There should be an option to switch to a pedestrian animation when needed. Otherwise it'll be immediately obvious who is a player-controlled character and who isn't.
That already happens: you will always see yourself as Aiden, but other online players will always see you as a random pedestrian.

I wonder what other multiplayer modes are in the game.

I hope there's like a free roam mode which you can explore with friends.

It looks cool but if it's just a glorified game of tag then it will probably get old fast.

I'm not complaining, it's just amazing that From did it 4 years ago.

Agreed. It really was a wonderful leap in innovation for MP on a console game. I think Assasin's Creed did a great job with how Brotherhood multiplayer worked as well. Putting those two things together seems like it could be fun.

I'm still not sure if I would let people invade me though. There are times when I'm just dialed into a playing alone and I won't want random people coming at me.

I know, but when a random NPC is walking exactly like Aiden, you know that that's a player and not the computer. I'm sure Aiden and pedestrians have different walking animations, so it'll be easy to spot.

Just swapping character models won't change the animations.

This is obvious and I'm sure it has been thought of so no worries.

They can be the same if you simply walk instead of jumping around buildings.

Have you never played AC mp?

Watching the new video and the framerate is HORRIB- oh wait I'm using Firefox at work. Literally any youtube video chugs like playing R6:Vegas on PS3 at 1080p, it's maddening. I've tried everything to fix this piece of shit, but now I have to open Chrome or even IE to watch a youtube video.
