Even with its ridiculously high price, I kinda wanna try it. Pulled up the product locator and found that it's being sold at a Sprouts nearby, may have to pick some up on the way home tomorrow. :lol

Watermelon is the best food of all time, so I wanted to try watermelon water, but this stuff is so goddamn expensive. Ordering directly from the company, a 12-pack of 12 oz. bottles is $44.99.

Has anyone tried this stuff? Is it worth getting once, or should I just throw some watermelon in a blender the next time they're in season?
Watermelon juice will go well with your $30 meal

Wait.

There are people that don't like watermelon?

What the fuck is going on?

I mean... it's pretty easy to get a watermelon that is lacking in flavor. I like watermelon just fine but I'd say like half the time I have one it's not sweet enough and just tastes kinda.. watered down. I can totally understand why someone could try a middle of the road watermelon and walk away less than impressed.

If your watermelon is lacking in flavor, you have a bad watermelon. It's either out of season or imported or something, and those are avoidable.

Also just blend your own watermelon.

I can understand seeing how common it is to get a watermelon lacking in flavour. At which point you're basically eating water with seeds.

Yes, I'm aware. I'm not a watermelon expert though so idk what to look for. My point is it's not like every watermelon is OH SO DELICIOUS to the point that it's unfathomable as to why someone might not enjoy them so much.

Out of pure convenience, yeah this will get you by if you crave some watermelon water/juice.

It doesn't beat the real thing though. It also has that "cold-pressed" flavor that a lot of those cold-pressed drinks seem to have.

lol.

WTRMLN WTR uses organic lemon, but non-organic watermelons. Why? Watermelons are part of the “Clean 15”, the group of 15 fruits and vegetables that have such a durable, thick outer skin that they bare little to no traces of pesticides and are considered safe to consume in non-organic form. In fact, according to the Environmental Working Group, organic certification for watermelon is “unnecessary.”

Because EWG is such a non-biased resource. Give me a break.

I'm a sucker for alternative beverages, particularly of the light and refreshing variety; so I've tried this. Unfortunately, it actually tastes a little too much like rind, and doesn't hit the right sweet vs. refreshing middle ground for me. The price is also EXTRA egregious, even in this age of designer pricet non-alcoholic cooler-aisle beverages.
This nails it. I once had some really solid bottled watermelon juice at Trader Joe's -- I haven't seen it since, and continue to look for a similar product. WTRMLN WTR is incredibly overpriced & tastes like unripe watermelon & rind. I sometimes see it around here for as "low" as $1 per 12oz bottle. Still pass on it at that price. Not as great as it sounds.

I'll admit, this is the kind of thing I'd buy one of if grocery shopping while thirsty/hungry.

I buy one of fucking everything during those moments, though.

Edit: just noticed the pic of Tropicana water melon with French writing on it. Woo! Gonna try that shit. (I'm in Quebec)
