I knew I was forgetting something in my earlier post.
As for Waypoint's performance and this Vice rebranding
1. If the problem is Waypoint underperforming, why would Vice let the Waypoint team stay entirely intact? Natalies claim that her leaving is unrelated is likely actually true, and Danielle isn't leaving.
2. Why would this rebranding then also be happening to Vice's other satellites? Would Occam's Razor conclude that the problem is that all of these satelites are underperforming? Or is the problem at Vice HQ?

Disney's write-down could be another bad sign for the struggling digital-media company Vice.
Likely Vice is facing pressure from Disney and other investors to consolidate some of its many divisions and do some rebranding in order to better focus their product.
