We Rule (iPhone / iPod Touch) - Gaffers playing?

This is a known bug that affects just about everyone to some extent. Ngmoco's in the process of patching it. I believe the update will come in the form of an app update, though I could be wrong.

I would have but the shop gives no indication of how big future buildings will be or how they look when rotated. Fortunately my end-goal is to get my level up, sell everything, and build a giant mining camp with fences.

I left a decent amount of room and accommodated for the extra crap around the buildings.

Man looking back a few pages... my before and after shots of my town are fucking light and day. :lol
 
Still trucking along. Just hit level 14 early this morning. I have so many houses in my kingdom right now, the people walking around are putting a strain on my 3GS and my housing area looks like something out of District 9. :lol

What benefit do houses give? They seem to give shit gold and xp. I would rather have more businesses and roads than a ton of houses.

Do roads do anything? Or trees and banners and shit for that matter?

Is there a good guide for the game out there? Google isn't finding anything useful.

Good question. I like to connect things with roads, but I consider it more aesthetic.

18 rows x 7 houses x 2XP = 252XP
18 rows x 7 houses x 4GP = 504GP

My houses reset every four hours.

Once I expand again, I'll make it 9 houses per row.

It pays. ^_^
 
boy this game can get addictive. Best farm type game so far i've played where it actually combines multiplayer really well. Got a nice little moat in my kingdom finally. o_O OneEightZer0 your houses are craaazy. Will definitely be adding some ppl in this thread

My whole town is glitchy and i can't see hardly any of my buildings. Is there anything i can do to remedy this?

Apparently the game downloaded some new graphics recently but it was being flaky about it, so you might have a corrupt cache. I think they were recommending reinstallation on their Twitter. Kingdom's saved on the server so it can't hurt to try.

i just started playing this 2 days ago and love it. add me to your friends, name is brknguitar. basicly farm a whole lot and buy stuff from other ppl's lands.

add friends, most of your income actually comes from placing orders at friend's buildings and delivering orders from your buildings to friends. Unless you want to hover around your farm all day and just make corn/wheat :P

Any ideas on how to delete/remove my kingdom please? I don't want to stitch up people on my Plus+ friends list by keep visiting my kingdom, requesting goods and me never being able to deliver!

I would advise building dozens of houses arranged in a fashion that spells out "sorry, i have a life"

Sell off your shops, if that doesn't send a clear enough "I'm done with this game" signal, fuck the people on your friend list.
 
heh, good shouts thanks. I'll sell all of my shops and do a little message for everyone somehow!

(edit) my rather pathetic effort is now finished! my plus+ account is the same as my gaf one, on the extreme chance someone wants to see something that looks like 84E with a lame attempt at a smiley at the end (fwiw i wouldn't waste your time :D)

I've only been playing this solo, which has been mostly pointless. I guess I'm missing the greater point by not playing multi-player, so add me to your friends list. My town is pretty barren, but I've got a bunch of shops.

Mine's too. ^^ Just working for the profit and xp (yet).
I don't own a single road and I even sold the trees I bought in the tutorial. :ugly:

I think I just ragequit the game this morning when a push notification from someone placing an order woke me up at 4 am. I deleted the game and went back to sleep. Since when have push notifications made a noise?

they sent an update last week..

You can just turn it off in your push notification settings.. sheeesh.

Haha I was raging at being woken up at 4 am so I just deleted it instead of fiddling around with settings. I'll fix it when I get home.
 
I have a lot of friends, but a lot of open and available businesses with no customers. Is my account glitching, or are my businesses not high-profile enough? I've even had a windmill open for a while.

Its all a matter if they leave you as a follower or friend you back. Adding someone will let you see their stuff which will beenfit you since shopping elsewhere helps.. but if they don't add you as well then you struggle a bit. I usually add people on my "Followers" list so I know the whole thing is mutual :)

Been playing this for while now, got an ugly as hell level 15 town with a bunch of shops. Could probably use some friends to do business with, so add me if you want.

You will start to see that in 4 hrs.. a good group of houses can make a decent amount of xp/gold if you can maintain the whole checking every 4 hrs thing as businesses later on day 1+ days to make deliveries.
