We won! Freedom Wars getting physical release in Europe

Well, SCEE of all companies must have some spare disc-printing capacity. They gave friggin' PlayStation Pets a retail release, FFS.

I love my Vita as much as everyone else here, but man, I don't get how I am supposed to be excited for yet another MH clone.

Good to see this happening. Not physicaly releasing supposedly big name first party title like this doesn't show confidence on Sony's part, especially when many niche games could get it.

You dont have to play it man. Just buy it. Show Sony your support. Show them that Retail Vita games are still selling.

So if Sony was just releasing some shovelware and old ports, you'd say the same? Buy even if you don't like just to show Sony they should continue?
I don't get it. It's important to buy games rather than used or a year later when it's too late to show interest, but I really don't get why someone should buy games he's not interested in.

I am very pleased with this news. Will definitely pre-order now. I probably would have bought it day one+-x anyway, but this is something I want to support so it further cements my resolve.

AAAAAW YISS

Now OreShika pls.

I'm surprised it turned around so quickly. I still hate how tiny those carts are, so I stick to digital, but have fun with it.

The Vita is near its extinction. Even Sony wants it dead. Thats why you should show some support so that Sony opens their eyes. Freedom Wars might not be the best game. But it is by far one of the biggest Vita exclusives that is
a) not a damn port
b) not shovelware

Cool cool. But we shouldn't even have to petition this in the first place. This isn't really a victory but more of Sony saying "we won't screw you over this time" and then us cheering. Not going to praise Sony for doing what they should've been doing in the first place.

I hate how we still have to beg for these things, but what else can we do to make them realize that we are passionate about our Vitas?

Glad you guys get it physically! Now I wish we could hear more info on Oreshika...

I'd recommend trying the demo out before buying Freedom Wars. Though, it is pretty hard to get a picture of how sub-par Freedom Wars is just from the demo. It has quite possibly the most boring and awful hub world that I can remember playing, forgettable characters and story, and as a whole, feels incomplete (not only missing content, but technical difficulties, half-baked gameplay/ideas, etc).

Wow that is so awesome! I'm not even in Europe but I am very impressed that they have made this decision. Hopefully this bodes well for Oreshika in all regions, I'm really looking forward to both of these along with PStv for Vita on a big screen.

Good. It was embarrasing seeing that all the HD compilation games and shovelware were getting retail releases and not the biggest first party seller in Japan.
