You mean where Nancy ends up with Andy and her toddler, Shane turns normal and decides to go to school, Silus gets a normal job and moves away and Doug manages to move them all back to Aggrestic (after he gets fired from his wall street job) or somewhere similar for them to all live a normal happy life.

I can't wait to see how close I hit the nail on the head with those assumptions. (Although, if this is the final season, the above is all completely obvious)

That sounds about right...this season has been awful. Hope Dexter is better....

Season's been pretty awful but I LOVE that they brought back
Heylia
.

Biggest mistake the show ever did was writing them out. I stopped watching half-way through last season but I missed that crew every episode. Funny I knew who it was without watching a single episode this season. :P

Anyone see the preview for next week?

Dean! And mention of Conrad!

:))))))))))))))))))))))

I didn't but this makes me happy.
Part of the reason that the series isn't nearly as good as it used to be, imo, is that the cast members in the post-Agrestic seasons weren't nearly as good as those in the earlier. I'm glad they're starting to realize this.
I have faith that the series can be good again.

Maybe.

One small thing that stuck out to me this episode that I really liked : Doug actually did something somewhat intelligent. He's been the biggest caricature on the show for a couple of seasons now, you almost forget that he was a decent accountant. I was a little surprised when they actually showed him not only doing some work, but being intelligent enough to realize that the books were being cooked.

i pray for nancy's death with every ongoing episode. shes such a selfish cunt that i rather her dead than behind bars for the family's sake.

Glad to see Heylia back and glad to see Shane trying to 1-up Silas, also if you don't like the show just change the channel it's not that hard

I thought this episode was pretty good. Was happy to see that Nancy and Silas finally faced the whole Lars-as-father issue. They didn't really hold any punches either, actually acknowledged that Silas may have gotten "different things". I believe that he deserves to be upset, and even moreso when you see how...coldy Nancy seems to handle everything these days.

I'm hoping that Conrad shows up at some point.

Oh and, didn't they used to have another girl that lived with them? Conrad's sister I think? I can hardly remember.

Vaneeta is Conrad's cousin, but I think it was implied when Heylia said when she saw the car pull up she was expecting a 5 year old running at her calling her grandma which is confusing since her daughter gave birth to the baby in season 1 and a lot of time has passed since season 1 and 7.

I think she meant she thought Nancy would have had Conrad's kid.

Enjoyed the latest episode. It crossed my mind during the library scene what if Michelle Trachtenberg was the boss. Silas got played

possibly one of the best episodes since the end of season 3, granted most of seasons 4-7 are shit compared to 1-3, but I really enjoyed this episode

Doug Wilson fucking killed it; loved every bit of that scene. Silas got played in each and every way. Michelle Trachtenberg can get it so hard. *bites lip*

Predictable twist, but the whole reveal with the upside-down room and the camera slowly twisting around and moving through the room was pretty cool.

The episodes are really up and down. The next one looks to be pretty good. Anyone else have any opinions or has everyone stopped watching? =p

I enjoyed it, but apparently only 3 of us are still watching.

I'm still watching, but mostly just to kill time until The Big C comes on.

Hmm, I've been watching that too. I don't like admitting that I actually like the show, it seems like a chick show. I only started watching because of my wife...lol

No shame in liking The Big C. In fact it's probably the best half hour show that Showtime has since they canceled United States of Tara.

So I picked up Weeds again, watched season 6 the last couple of days and I'm now halfway through season 7. I can't help but to think that this season's story is one of the most logically flawed ones. Maybe I'm thinking too much of it but I can't help but to notice them.

First, season finale, Nancy gets arrested yet her family can board the plan and fly to Copenhagen despite the FBI outside? Knowing that she's there?
Not to mention that they arrested someone earlier on that very same plane who just robbed a bank. Also he gives his personal belongings aka big stash of cash to Shane right in front of the police and he can keep it, in what world does that work?

New season, fast forward 3 years and she's still in prison, her baby at her sisters house.
They weren't able to run from Esteban for 2 months yet Esteban was unable to kidnap his son in those 3 years? Come on, who's gonna buy that.

Then she gets those gloves from her inmate, how did she know where to find the key?
Also isn't this a bit far stretched? She gets released at the right spot to make use of the gloves? Why did she do that in the first place?

Minor one but she needs money, her boss(also wtf how she got the job) hits on her yet she turns it down, I think selling drugs makes for a far more entertaining storyline ._.

It's a shame that this show went from black comedy with little to no drama to drama with some black comedy. They should have ended it with season 4, ever since she set her house on fire, shit went downhill.

Nancy and her bunkmate had a plan (or rather, her bunkmate had a plan and Nancy went along with it) to use the weapons to fund getting away and opening a dog hotel in the middle of nowhere. She told Nancy where to find the key and gave her the gloves to get it. So Nancy could set it all up for them.

Thanks, I've now watched all episodes of season 7 so far.
How likely is a renewal? No way they can pull of a satisfying end with only 3 episodes left.
As if it couldn't get any worse they cast Michelle Trachtenberg? They really try the best they can to drive this into the ground.

Haven't watched Breaking Bad but the description pretty much applies to Weeds ._.
You can't run a comedy about smoking without black people, bring them back. Heylia was one of the best characters.

Could have sworn there was news of a season 8 already.

Also, Esteban was likely arrested immediately after Nancy was taken into custody, and the baby taken away for protection or something. Remember he was in prison, not out and about for 3 years.

Fake passports, they didn't know her family was there. She called the FBI on herself, and presumably only stated that her and her son were there.

Either suspension of disbelief or pretend the marshals on the plane were incompetent. Also remember that there was no reason to believe the money was in the pillow. The real question is how did the pillow get through security? TSA scans for cash amounts exceeding $10k.

They weren't able to run from Esteban for 2 months yet Esteban was unable to kidnap his son in those 3 years? Come on, who's gonna buy that.

Esteban is dead, all of his associates are retired, and he was arrested with her.

Then she gets those gloves from her inmate, how did she know where to find the key?

They had planned in the 3 years she was in prison.

She got a job because Doug hired her.

He is an accountant at a hedge fund of some kind. He got the job because he ran into an old college buddy. They hired him, because as you'll find out in subsequent episodes,
they're cooking the books and they need an accountant to keep it on the DL
.

Also,
She ends up selling drugs in a few episodes
.

... you sure you paid attention when you watched the show?
