You're right, nothing forces me to read the thread, but I am forced to wade through the endless topics on the main page in order to find something I want to read. Everything else gets a stickied Topic when it reaches this point, I don't understand why this hasn't. Look, I'm glad people are digging this game, and congrats to Nintendo for creating some excitement around the DS - I just don't want to have to see a billion topics on it a day, that's all.

while there may be a billion topics on it a day (well, maybe less than a billion) I don't get when people act like it is a chore to "wade through" topics.. I mean, is scrolling your wheel mouse harder than say, removing a stump from your yard? or pushing your car 10 blocks to the gas station after it runs out of gas? let's face it.. wading through topics is scrolling the wheel and clicking the button a few times.. hardly enough IMHO to set anyone off in a frenzy about the work put into it.

Actually, combined sales of Nintendogs would easily make it the number one selling game in Japan. And I agree, Famitsu's unprecedented score of 40/40 is probably a big factor in those sales.
