Nah, this is just the last ALbum under his current contract. He's going to evaluate his options going forward, but has no plans to retire.

Well, I stand corrected. I actually have heard every song on this polka, I just never knew the names or the people that sung them. Except for Wrecking Ball which I had actively avoided.I've heard all the songs that are going to be parodied before, but I think this is the first polka that I haven't heard half the songs on it.
Me too! High five!Except for Wrecking Ball which I had actively avoided.
I prefer that greatly. If we can get a steady stream of like 2-4 songs a year, that'd be pretty rad.He said he's likely gonna do set of 2-3 songs as LPs going forward, to be more timely when he makes parodies. He has no plans to stop though ^_^
Word Crimes is fantastic, he still has it.
Album is great, vids are great!

Inactive is one of my favorites. I've never heard the original, but I'm pretty sure it's an effect they used since the original is called "Radioactive".Just bought this CD. Good stuff. Love word crimes, foil and handy. Inactive sounds too muddled for my liking. That's only after one listen tho. I need more time to digest the original stuff but was pleased to hear Amanda Palmer on First World Problems.
Yeah, this is definitely his best album since at least Running With Scissors. Every song is very good, but it is lacking a "Hardware Store" caliber all-time great song. At least for me.
Inactive is really close, though.
(It's safe to stop listening when the second guest shows up. She was a bit of a zero).
I feel like Mission Statement is a new all time classic. I love it for the same reason I love "Buy Me a Condo". He mixes really boring lyrics with a very fun upbeat style.
I just imagine it's the narrator from "This is the Life." May as well be the same dude.
I have never seen this box art before. That is so old-logo.July 21, 1989 is now merely days away from 25 years ago, friends:
