I've never used RSS bee4. Is there any cool website that aren't GAF? Help me find some cool nerdy stuff. Someone please tell me how to the internet thank you, my Hidalgo.

Is there a cool RSS reader that works across my desktop, phone, and tablet? Thanks, Ted.

Feedly is pretty good, but they are still using Google's services so who knows how it will turn out when they switch to their own once Reader goes out the window.

All major websites have RSS feeds these days, just copy/paste the URL to the subscribe field in your RSS reader.

Well what are some cool websites to add, Ted? I don't think I've been on a site other than GAF in like 10 years.

What are you interested in?

Some random feeds at :

Laughing Squid, Lifehacker, waxy.org links, Nerdcore, Dangerous Minds, jwz, Babbage, Ars Technica.

The Verge is really the only "news" website I subscribe to, as I enjoy reading a decent amount of their articles and their post count never becomes overwhelming. They have a lot of smaller RSS feeds and a daily video recap of the news stories each day as well, in case that's more manageable. Because I don't subscribe to any other new sources though and don't want to miss out on any great articles, I subscribe to The Browser, The Feature, and Longform, all of which feature pieces of long-form journalism. The last website is far away and my favorite. The Atlantic's In Focus section is a great aggregate of photo journalism from different sources, so I'm subscribed to that as well.

lifehacker is just the best.

tons cool nerd stuff. a general entertainment feed. a good movies feed, a good music feed focusing on indie stuff but still covering some mainstream, a good national news feed. a good world news feed. a good "mainstream media isn't reporting this" news feed.

Is there anything else on the internet that's cool to look at besides that stuff?
