[Nintendo Directs] began in October two years ago, and recently have been well received by many of our customers. ....At E3 this year we did not hold a large-scale conference like we have in previous years, instead we focused on a Nintendo Direct to disperse the information relating primarily to titles we plan to release by 2014 on Wii U. However, that does not mean that that was all the titles we plan on releasing between now and 2014 and we have nothing else aside from that. The consumers who have an interest in E3 are typically gamers with a strong desire for information on more traditional 'game' software and there was much information that we were unable to share at that time. As a result, we focused firstly on games that players would definitely be able to play on Wii U from now, and to ease concerns some customers have about waiting for more games to have been released before purchasing a Wii U, or whether or not there would be many titles for the system they'd be interested in. On the other hand, regarding completely new games, it is possible for them to be copied between release and announcement or for competing products to be released and thus weaken the impact of our titles and I think it is better that this doesn't happen. Of course we are involved in the development of new kinds of games, but please allow us to talk about them in more detail as we move closer to their release dates.
