Personally, I just prefer to be in control of my reproductive system as a male, which why I prefer condoms.

A note about these DON'T get the regular size. I have smaller than average penis and these things were like shrink wrapping my dick. They were physically painful.

Mirena was a nightmare for me. I had it for about 3 or 4 months. It was extremely painful, and my husband could feel it when we had sex (it hurt him too). I went in for multiple doctor visits to make sure it was placed correctly. It just didn't work for me, and I was very disappointed.

Polyurethane condoms are much better at transmitting heat than latex. They're a lot more expensive and feel a little weird but they're good. And seriously, put a drop or two of lube in them. I remember thinking this forum was way too fucking mean on people sometimes. Then I remember they decide to share very, very personal information themselves. It's 50/50.

Have you tried looking in to different and/or custom sizes? I've heard the US is pretty restrictive on what can be legally sold there, and if it's a condom that's too small then it's going to cause sensitivity problems.
