weirdly for being a pretty common game they don't sell for for cheap on the used market. I have guns that are compatible with it but I've never found a pcb for a decent price

Gorf was ported to various 8-bit consoles and computers back in the early 80's by CBS Electronics, although they are all missing the Galaxian level. A near arcade perfect port was published for the Atari Jaguar CD. Gorf was going to get the 2000 treatment, like Tempest 2000 and Defender 2000, although instead of being released as one game, it was going to be an episodic release, with Gorf Classic, Gorf Plus and Gorf 2000 each getting their own release on the Jaguar CD. Only Gorf Classic was released. Real copies go for several hundred dollars on eBay. The publisher did a midnight online launch on Jaguar Sector II web site back in the day and the first 50 buyers got a numbered limited edition copy and those go for even more money. I got one at the midnight launch.

Planet Harriers def needs a port! Sadly I've tried to buy the pcb and due to a pcb design flaw (they forgot to tin the processor pads) I had two loose chips floating around in the box
eventually this will end up as a lost Sega game due to the fact all the boards will fail eventually and unless you have BGA reball skills, it's not fixable

Adding a new one. The Maze of the Kings. It might not be a House of the Dead game, but damn it Sega wasn't killing it with light gun shooters in the late 90's / early 2000's. I need to get this running on my NAOMI, but finding an OG light gun is proving to be VERY difficult. Now paying $400 for an untested gun (which is currently the going rate sadly)

Played this basketball game a few times in the 80s. Hard as hell. I remember where. For you Torontonians, it was at Sherway Gardens when they had that arcade near that exit and this game was at the back wall!
Btw, this guy has an awesome channel of old arcade games he 1CCs. Sega's Champion Baseball is beatable if you cheese it with bunting. I thought that game was impossible to beat.... and it is if you play it normal.

Yep, Daytona 2, Rave Racer, Scud race, Sega Rally 3, Golden Axe Revenge of death adder, Metamorphic Force, AVP, Ollie King.
Motor Raid has been ported in Judgment with Fighting Vipers, Virtua fighter 5 FS and a clone of House of the Dead.

But the amount of content in Yakuza is pretty insane for an arcade lover.
In the 90's we were paying full price for 1 track in Ridge Racer and each year we were paying quite enough for Virtua fighter, a little less for Virtua Remix, then full price for Virtua Fighter 2 (only 10 characters) and some additional bucks for Virtua Fighter Kids.
Now, we have a little game center as a bonus" in Yakuza games... even an lite version of VF5 has far more characters available than our old games. Same for motor raid.(daytona saturn had 3 tracks, motor raid 5).
2020 gaming is not that bad.
(Kiwami 2 is only 30 bucks godammit, i don't need saturn VF2 and Virtual On anymore, i Can now play the arcade ports

Think about it, we can play Virtua Fighter 5 !!! Not a fun but dated Virtua Fighter 1... and we also have a complete unknown game like Motor Raid. Why not Maze of the king then ?
(well, the sound designer of Yakuza worked on Motor Raid that's probably tje reason of this weird but delightful comeback)
