Cities Skylines, World of Warships, and Final Fantasy XIV

For a while in the past my other podcast games were Civ 5, Titanfall, and Destiny. I also sometimes played BF4 while listening to the Bombcast

Doing daily stuff in Destiny like patrols, heroic story, and grinding strikes works really well for this.

Haven't touched Destiny in eons but yes, when I was still hooked and grinding dailies, it was definitely a podcast game for me. Hearing how they've revamped the upgrade mechanic for gear with HoW, I might jump back in for a little since I have the expansion pass.


Any game with a heavy grinding mechanic is a solid contender, imo. The only game I haven't done that with is Bloodborne because I really like the music and ambient soundtrack; the irony there is that if I'm having trouble with a boss I'll just mute the TV since it allows me to not be distracted by the music or inevitable shrieking lol

Basically any game that has a lot of grinding or potential for grinding.

well before it used to be mario galaxy 2 on dolphin since the emulator wouldn't work with the sound(its a legal copy before anyone ask, i simply prefer to play the game in hd so i choose to play it on my pc rather than my wii) but thats been fixed so i don't really do that anymore. also used to play starbound while i listened to them but i got bored of that game. Right now though I normally play smash 3ds, monster hunter 4 or any other 3ds game im in the mood for. Although I will be getting a wii u soon so maybe I'll start playing other games while I listen to them! I never even thought of playing a console game while listening, I'll try it next time with Diablo.

Elite Dangerous is perfect for listening to podcasts to.

NBA 2K15 is great for podcast listening, especially if you're working your way through a full 82 game season, playing with 10 minute quarters.
