What are your top five PS3 exclusive games?

Don't bother. Infamous 2 shits on 1 in every single way. I hated 1 but thought 2 was really good.

Yes, the HD Remaster is on PSN, but actually, you can probably get the HD Collection on disc for very cheap, might want to check out that instead. Unless you want that wow factor, GoW3 is still the best looking PS3 game I think.

EDIT: Dark Souls in on 360.
 
still have a few to play like u3, infamous2, valkyria, demon's soul etc...s hardly have time but so far

Motorstorm PR: best arcade racer in a decade
Uncharted 2: best TPS this gen formme by a mile
InFamous: disliked the demo but finally played it after some friends advice and wow, i have always disliked free roaming games but this one was a awesome experience
Heavy rain: a refreshing experience, really enoyed it, different from everything else
Shatter: PSN is great to so it deserved at least one game here, ssdhd or wipeouthd are amazing but this simple arkanoid game is the one i enjoyed the most. Awesome soundtrack too.

2. Uncharted 2 ( just started 3 so this may change)
3. MGS4
4. God of War 3
5. LBP2


Honorable mentions to all of those prequels and sequels as well as the resistance series.

I bought my PS3 for exclusives and blurays only. If it is multiplat I get it for PC or 360.

inFamous 2 has a way worse story and villain than inFamous 1 (not that either were great in the first game, but they shit all over inFamous 2). And at least the original didn't have an area as awful as Flood Town, or those horrible ice guys.

Never played Yakuza, but judging by how many people have it on their list, it's now on my Amazon wishlist.

It'd be if it were on the freaking X button (Festival of Blood has the swarm mode, so it wins on that regard anyway).

The only thing in which i2 is superior to the original is graphics.
 
This thread really highlights to me how Sony has an INCREDIBLE range of exclusives, as well as some painfully overrated ones.

For me it'd probably be:

1. Demon's Souls
2. Uncharted 2
3. Uncharted
4. Infamous 2
5. LittleBigPlanet 2

(Uncharted 3, LittleBigPlanet, Infamous, Flower, God of War 3, Motorstorm: Apocalypse, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, Yakuza 4, Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction etc are all worthy mentions as well)

Rubbish/Overrated:

1. Metal Gear Solid 4
2. Heavy Rain
3. Killzone 2/3
4. Resistance/2
5. Gran Turismo
6. Yakuza 3

Still a few exclusives I need to play. Siren: Blood Curse has been in my house for like a year and I still need to open it! Amnesia has set some very high standards, though...

There's a lot it does wrong. It's low budget and rough around the edges. It has 300MB save games. It can sometimes be tedious to get the perfect shot. The Hong Kong English version (which I have) never got a trophy patch.

On the other hand, I think it has the best simulation of photography in a game I've ever played, attempting to integrate something closer to an actual campaign into a photography game is neat (I'd easily rank it above Aquanaut's Holiday, Endless Ocean 1/2, Pokemon Snap, or Sealife Safari for that reason), and the game often--although not always--looks beautiful with excellent use of colour.

My taste in games definitely doesn't favour refined and accessible stuff and some of my favourite games of all time are pretty divisive in terms of public reception (Legend of Mana is one such example). Some people are more forgiving of rough edges if the core theme or mechanic of the game connects with them well so I guess that's how I'd describe myself.

For PS3 exclusives, I've played at least some of (disc based): 3d Dot Game Heroes, Afrika, Aquanaut's Holiday, both Buzz games, Demons Souls, Folklore, Heavenly Sword, Heavy Rain, ICO/SOTC, inFamous, KZ2, LBP, MGS4 (briefly), ModNation Racers, MotorStorm 3, Ratchet FTOD, Ratchet ACIT, Ratchet A4O, Resistance 1, Resistance 2, Resistance 3, Uncharted 1, Uncharted 2, Uncharted 3, Valkyria Chronicles. I own WKC but haven't touched it yet. I haven't finished all of the aforementioned, naturally.

Still intend to play at some point (currently released): Haze, Genji 2, Lair, The Last Rebellion, Twisted Metal. I didn't like nFamous 1 enough to pick up inFamous 2, I didn't like LBP enough to pick up LBP2, and I didn't like Killzone 2 enough to pick up Killzone 3.

No interest in GoW, Yakuza, Disgaea, Atelier as franchises.
 
The safest general characterization of the PS3 video game tradition is that it consists of a series of footnotes to Demon's Souls.

1. WipEout HD
1080p/60fps arcade racing at its best.

2. Siren: Blood Curse
The only true horror game of this generation.

3. Heavy Rain
The Silent Hill 2 of this gen.

4. God of War III
A sight to behold, and a joy to play.

5. Resistance: Fall of Man
The most fun I've had in FPS since UT2003.

Ice launch is only good until you get lightning tether though. Then ice launch becomes kinda useless. And flight mode in Festival of Blood shits on lightning tether too.

2 didn't have the awful enemy aim accuracy bullshit from the original, so there's that too. But yeah, overall I liked the original more than the sequel.

Haha Yakuza seems like such a Stump series too. I guess I could just picture him really getting into Shogi or something.

My list is way shorter than I thought, just Valkyria, Katamari, Wipeout and Noby Noby. There's some good exclusive stuff coming up in the pipeline though. I'll pick up the Yakuzas when I finish 2.

That's pretty much it exclusive-wise. Couldn't get into Demons Souls, Uncharted, or Metal Gear Solid.

Didn't put DS on there because I liked Dark Souls a whole lot better.
 
I find it a little sad that most of the games listed are basically roughly the same 10 games or so.

Eden (it was exclusive for a long time, I am counting it as such)

Unchartered 2 (only game I've ever beaten in a single sitting)

Demons Souls
