What do you use to clean your controllers?

Controllers get dirty after use, mainly with sweat, I guess. What do you use to clean them? Is there a type of substance that you shouldn't use lest you damage the controller?

I don't know what people actually use, but I've been using Isopropyl alcohol to clean up my eletronic stuff for years now.

q-tips with a bit of water and/or disinfectant.

no idea if that's an ideal way to do it, it's just what I have on hand.

I generally keep a box of alcohol prep pads near my desk. They're perfect to quickly clean and sterilize my controllers, mouse, and keyboard.

Just a damp cloth. I see no need for antibacterial stuff unless you're letting a mass of strangers handle your controllers.

You definitely do not want to be using acetone or any other solvent that attacks plastic. Also, any kind of wipe designed for use on human skin is bound to contain other gunk.

If I clean anything, it's my mouse because it gets far more use than my controllers. I just keep my hands clean and put them in a drawer to keep the dust off them.

EDIT: I meant to say that I put my controllers in a drawer to keep the dust off them, not my hands! :D

I start off with an alcohol wipe, go over it with a warm towel, and finish it off with a dry towel. Then I dull the side of a toothpick and get at any visible crevices to clear out any dirt that may be stuck inside. As long as you're not submerging it in anything, I think this and most other methods should be fine.

I just throw my mouse mat in the washing machine every month or so, comes out impeccably every time.

I'm rich, so i don't clean a pad: I just throw away the old and I take one of the spare thirty-six pads that i have.

Isopropyl alcohol for everything, controllers and screens.

What happens if it's one of those nights and you run out of pads? (and the pad delivery is already closed)

I don't touch my controller when I'm eating. I always touch it with "clean" hands so I don't need to clean it. Mine still looks pretty much like when I got it at PS4 release.

Unfortunatly L3 stops working occasionally so the PS4 Pro controller will be welcome.
