I believe in sticking to a theme and hate when people change them frequently. Plus I'm never going to look back and wonder what I was thinking when I remember an unfortunate avatar fad. And it goes with the user name.

When my account was accepted animated avatars were still a thing so, in haste, I used this one of Jason from Home Movies:

And within a couple of days I changed to Bernard from Maniac Mansion:

I used that one for awhile and eventually changed to the LucasArts logo at the end of Day of the Tentacle:

That one was used for a long time but for a period of a month I used the Appstore logo for Snoopy's Street Fair:

After that I changed back to the LucasArts one and used it for awhile longer. Then last year I changed my username from "LastWindow" to this and also changed my avatar again to the two main characters from The Sea Will Claim Everything holding hands, which I can't find. And at the start of this year I began using my current one and will probably stick with it for quite awhile. At least until I find another one with Snoopy annoying Charlie Brown.

I decided when I joined Gaf to stick to one avatar. Personally I often remember poster by their avatar rather than their username, so I wanted my avatar to remain constant.
