I use my candy pink.

I have a controller for everyone who frequents my system; gold, urban camo, opaque red, smoke, and 4 black (each personalized).

This is important op, don't get this wrong.

I know I'm stressing thinking about it. Narrowed it down to Gold or Pink.

My favourite is the "deep red" flavour.

I have that one, too, but the plastic being so thin that the power/slot light is illuminating more than its window is making the paint job look cheap. I liked my white one better, it looks classier. Unfortunately it had developed a stick problem.

I own the pink, definitely my favorite. But it's one of the newer ones which weigh less, it's like an empty plastic shell.

Be wary buying online, everything is a fake (not mine though, I wasted a lot of time making sure)

My white one is my favorite looking, although it is the only one i've ever had stop working without throwing it against something being the cause of it. When i'm playing with that controller now there'll just be random buttons getting pushed while i play.

Definitely excited for when sony starts pushing out tons of DS4 colors.

Sony broke my heart by discontinuing the jungle green DS4, so now I stick with gold or silver.

Red and blue make me sick.

You could check the topic (search term 'Dualshock 4 PS3' will take you there) and see if a Dualshock 4 would be suitable for your games. There's no rumble and you need to keep it plugged into a micro USB cable (I recommend 3 metres), but it's a vastly superior controller. Bear in mind though that's it's not compatible with a lot of games though.

Pink. It's the most aesthetically pleasing controller I've ever owned.

White is pretty good, too. Not a fan of the rest.
