i have a hard time remembering back to the start of the year.. but i picked up oblivion a few months ago and sunk around 100 hours into it. i don't even really think it's that great but it just keeps going on, and i've hardly touched the main story. so i have respect for that openness.

Wild Arms 3, this game is seemingly taking forever to beat... so much optional stuff to do in it. Lost Odyssey, getting every achievement other than Treasure Trove, took me a long time as well.

Burnout Paradise has taken up a ton of hours since I got it back in the beginning of the year.

I was an "elder" in the Warhammer Online beta and had been playing from mid 2007 to up until a couple of months ago regularly.

I also put a good amount of time into Metal Gear Solid 4 through a couple of play throughs and into Metal Gear Solid 3 (which I played through this year just before MGS4 hit).

Rock Band, without a doubt. Next to WoW it's probably my most played game of all time, because my wife begs every Friday and Saturday night to play it with her. I've never had her beg me to play ANY game, so I gladly oblige.

For this year though, next to Rock Band, it would probably be Drake's Fortune. I've played through it three times this year.
