What game would cause the biggest Megaton if exclusivity was announced at E3?

Any huge third party title being exclusive to Wii U would cause meltdowns. Shenmue 3, a remake of Final Fantasy VII, a Platinum developed, Kamiya helmed DMC5...

New Rockstar open world IP exclusive to PS4.

That sounds familiar...

For "realistic" (though still unlikely) megaton exclusives...

Fallout 4 for XBox One.
Why could it happen? Bethesda has a relationship with Microsoft, with Morrowind and Oblivion initially being XBox exclusives (Morrowind never seeing release on another console, though Oblivion was later released on PS3). Fallout 3 was also generally a better experience on the 360 than PS3, and it seemed like Bethesda developed primarily for that and PC. If I remember correctly, Skyrim was much buggier on PS3 than 360 as well and it seemed like Bethesda ignored the issues in that game for a while.

Why would it be megaton? Fallout 3 was one of the biggest games of last gen. It still has a huge following and it's been rumored to be in development for years.

Why won't it happen? It's stupid to release a huge game like this as an exclusive.

i think it being so buggy on the ps3 was more because, well every bethesda game is buggy as hell, and the ps3 was a pain for a lot of devs for a very long time.

Many posters seemingly can't handle the thought of any Japanese Xbox One exclusives, going by any and all threads related to the Xbox One in Japan.

Half-Life 3. Wii U.

First post nails it. This would be a megaton on so many levels and change the dynamics going forward to an extreme degree.

It is, also, not ENTIRELY impossible. Proof of Half Life 3's existence is out there in source code, etc.

Current gen Nintendo titles from Wii U, now available on PS4 worldwide.

If Nintendo were serious about making money they would do this. So much sales.

Any game we've been thirsty for but realistically will probably never see announced for the system we either don't have or don't lean towards.

I think the single most shocking exclusivity announcement, would be if Nintendo somehow managed to get back Final Fantasy VII as an HD remake for the Wii U. Sony-fanboys have wanted this game since the PS3-trailer they did at the start of last gen, and I think it would be the ultimate betrayalton if this now would appear on a rival plattform, and a Nintendo-plattform even more so considering its history starting out on the N64. It would be the megaton of the forever, and the meltdowns would be glorious to watch!

Personally, I don't think we've seen the big exclusive megaton game yet. I think an exclusive will be shown off that will make bigger waves on the internets than Titanfall did.

And I'll be disappointed if that doesn't happen.

I'm glad it's the proof of Half-Life 3's existence – and not the fact I said 'Wii U' that brought you to that statement.

Any relevant 3rd party mainline/non-spinoff IP - especially a Japanese one of value - being announced as exclusive for Wii U.

Imagine them rebooting Megaman properly (read: not in 2D), but for Wii U. That would be big, and would make some people pretty damn salty.

In terms of sales, and popular interest, an exclusive Call of Duty would be pretty huge. I don't think Microsoft would ever be willing to pay enough money to make that happen (Activision would want a lot a lot).

What else... Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, and Assassin's Creed are all big multiplats, and an exclusive announcement to any console would be a big deal.

MS signs a deal to where Activision doubles the amount of Map Packs they currently make but 50% of them are 360/XB1 exclusive. Not timed exclusive, but flatout never coming to any non-MS system ever under any circumstances... and they are included in the Season Pass/Elite at no extra cost.
