They were state of the art back in these days... Well, maybe the vector games could be considered more advanced, but the point is, they had as much budget as games could have in their time.Maybe AA but not AAA.

Wreckfest came out on consoles last year. Nobody cared.
It was my personal goty.
Arcadey pick up and play games can't retain users long enough to sell additional content or entice other users to try it out. Such games will never have a substantiated presence on concurrent users lists either.
Games like COD, GS:GO, Destiny, Warframe or World of Warcraft, the ones with a repetitive gameplay loops become better dopamine dispensers than arcade games could ever be.
The Dreamcast died in 2001, blame all the players that didn't support it.
I post this everytime a thread like this appears:
It had two issues: performance problems (specifically on Switch but which they eventually patched), and the tutorial didnt explain drift properly (you just hold accelerate and tap handbrake twice).
It's such a wonderful game but it was allowed to die.
Yeah, it's great!Oh it's good? I'll give it a go then. I love arcade racing.
currently addicted to playing Grip Combat Racing. It's a Rollcage spiritual successor.
The spiritual successor to Destruction Derby in all but name, seeing as we won't get another installment in that series anytime soon....is it better to play wreckfest on Xbox-One? As One review I saw said the PS4 had to be restarted numerous times ahead of a race....Wreckfest came out on consoles last year. Nobody cared.
