Anyone remember the New Coke?
I wish I could remember that debacle but I was too young to care or notice.
RC cola > Pepsi > Coke
They taste the same. As do most off brands.

Exactly!
But yeah, Pepsi is doing fine. They own Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC etc.
Burger King started carrying the 100+ different flavors. I did enjoy the Diet Vanilla Cherry Coke and Diet Berry Vanilla Coke. That's insane to me. I don't see a lot of Pepsi machines doing that. I'm more of Diet Pepsi person. I don't drink regular soda.

In my area, independent restaurants are actually starting to switch to Pepsi. It might just be the local distributor, but apparently they give better rates.
Edited for ya.Paper Cup = Pepsi > Coke
Glass Bottle = Pepsi > Coke.
Glass (just a glass) = Pepsi > Coke
Bottle = Pepsi > Coke
Can = Pepsi > Coke
Pepsi wins overall.
Am I crazy or has the taste of Pepsi changed over the past year or two? I can barely stand it now.
Coke is the king of advertising. The goddamn king. Pepsi had a lot of edgy ploys in the 80s and 90s to get people to switch from drinking Coke, meanwhile Coke just continues on making sure they constantly have mindshare, that people are always aware of Coke in the back of their mind.
Sure, Pepsi was successful with a few of it's campaigns, but long term, Coke will always win because they play the long game in marketing, and don't go for the gimmicks.
No, he's not. A lot of people can tell the difference. Hell, we had to get law enforcement to settle a fight once on campus over it. Long story short, Pepsi Jazz was in and someone refused to learn what the Jazz was all about.
People must be livid lol. I only do the non sugar/HFCS sodas, but Diet Pepsi taste like crap to me.
Holy crap, no. I can tell pepsi from coke and diet coke/pepsi from their regular versions.
Nothing changed, there are just 3 main varieties of classic and you have to look at the can.
Blue can new logo: High Fructose Corn Syrup
Blue can new logo AND old logo text: beet sugar
Seasonal white throwback can: cane sugar
Beet sugar is my favorite.
Pepsi > Coke .. sorry had to put it out there![]()
Is Pepsi Max their Coke Zero equivalent?
They stopped production of Pepsi throwbacks![]()
Is Pepsi Max their Coke Zero equivalent?
exactlyNo they do not. I and many others can tell when we are given Pepsi instead of Coke.
There's definitely a difference in taste.
If you can't taste the difference something is wrong.
They taste the same. As do most off brands.
What are you talking about? You can get it in 12-packs and 2-liters here. They also have some variation of Cherry Pepsi that I want to say is throwback also.

I believe Pepsi owns Taco Bell, KFC and I think A&W along with Long John Silvers... so they do have some places still and that wont change. Taco Bell being the big one of course.
My tastes are weird.
Bottle Diet Pepsi > Bottle Diet Coke
Bottle Diet Pepsi > Can Diet Coke
Can Diet Coke > Bottle Diet Coke
Regular Coke > Regular Pepsi
Death by Snu Snu > Coke Zero

Dr. Pepper >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Coke > Pepsi
Fanta > Everything else
It wasn't horrible but it certainly wasn't coke classic....they even pulled this for a while.
