Like, it's impossible that two people on a discussion forum would have divergent opinions. Simply inconceivable!
 
Thor 2: The Dark World is fantastic because it automatically eliminates people who didn't really have an opinion in polls.

I chuckle whenever I see Kale Breckin come up. What make this funny is that I know there is a real person with this name.

The Italian meal was never funny when in the original thread.
 
the one I hate the most, I'm not sure originated on gaf. it's the "why not both" gif. it means nothing. it's cheerfully insipid. nuke it
 
The constant lazy references to old threads shoe horned in at every opportunity. Italian meal, how far gaming has come, green lines, etc.

Also quoting two opposing opinions with just "NeoGAF" or "NeoGAF.gif". Different posters have different opinions, shocking news.

But the worst of all (and this isn't specific to GAF) is pretending to care about whether or not people like pineapple on their pizza (sorry Gafia)

Usually what happens when a joke gets run into the ground.

Its like people want to convince others they're a true OG gaffer so they have to make references (speaking of, the captain america I understood that reference can also be added to this list) to unfunny shit, and then others pretend to laugh cuz they don't want to seem like they're not a real gaffer

Remember that Bow Wow challenge? You had people posting the $30 Italian meal pic. Absolutely nothing to do with the challenge but lol I'm a gaffer look at dis funny meme
 
When, instead of posting a gif, people post the name of it instead. Most commonly used one is Iunderstoodthatreference.gif. I am guilty of this as well, but have seen the error of my ways.

I also really fucking hate it when people post threads that begin with: GAF, We Need to Talk About _________

Not really a meme, but so bloody annoying all the same.

Well given that Bish is gone, I haven't seen many of the banned.gif stuff floating around anymore, so it seems like you got your wish already.

As for me, my only complaint with a lot of GAF's memes and memes in general is they get overused, so in that realm thisisneogaf.gif and some of the response GIFs get my vote.
 
there are some memes that start good, get bad, and then they die and is not funny

but then there are some memes that start good, get bad, and then get so overused it becomes ironically funny again
 
I've always hated the italian meal. Somebody who admits to being in a bad situation posts something happy and everybody can't help but fall over themselves laughing at him for a decade.

Other jokes are overused but none seem so mean spirited and directed at a member here.

How about the Banderas gif? Or "expert on _____ culture"? Though I voted for Thor 2, that might be a result of recentism and meme burnout.

Edit: Yes, I'm 100% aware that you could make a case that those two examples should be on a "best of" list.

Eh not in that sense. He gets paid for advice so that includes making an analysis on the industry and where it might go. So predictions are certainly a part of it, but just saying, "people pay him for predictions" is a little disingenuous
