Agent Smith wins it for me, but it's a close call.

He made Agent Smith an iconic villain for the ages. Which is impressive as it's just a guy in a suit. That role could have easily been completely forgettable

There was that one where he got a loom and some wool and crafted a remarkable-looking rocketship trophy.

Hugo Weaving Hugo Weaving.

V in V for Vendetta

He was very good. I don't like the movie much, but his performance is
nothing short of incredible considering you never see his face.

Also, Agent Smith. He was truly menacing in the first film, and had great moments in the other two despite those being hot trash. In fact he seems like the only actor that knew what kind of role he was playing in the sequels.

V for vendetta...

slight topic change...what was gafs reaction to v for vendetta? i havent seen it in a few years, but i recall loving it. i can probably convince myself to fit it into my top 20 movies all time.

Good movie until the 4chan ruined it for the world with their meming

V and Elrond.

I enjoyed his hammy Red Skull performance and wish he would reprise it. They left the door open...

He's actually interested in reprising his role despite not being a fan of having to put on the heavy make-up prior, and they left the Red Skull's role open, but Marvel doesn't seem to have any interest in using the character right now. I would be very much interested in him coming back, especially since The Red Skull was a wasted character, like a lot of Marvel villains.

But really, it's as Smith in the first Matrix. He could have been a forgettable henchman, but he was so fucking magnetic that even the Wachowskis were forced to write stupid bullshit to bring him back for the sequels because they couldn't not bring him back now.
Yeah, I'd have to land on Agent Smith. He just brings so damn much to a relatively simple villain.

Say what you like about V for Vendetta, but Hugo Weaving delivers a phenomenal performance in it. What he did with that character was really quite amazing.

Yeah, film was an abominable adaptation but he played V really well.

I'm going to have to say Agent Smith though. Whenever anyone farts near me, I still toss out "IT'S THE SMELL. I feel... infected by it" then stick both my fingers up the perpetrator's nostrils.

This really is a fantastic film. Its a relationship drama that's suspensful like a thriller, and no part of that works if you don't buy any of the three leads. Mr. Weaving of course being the main character and integral part of this whole thing.

Best movie ever made about a blind photographer, bar none.

If we get another Mad Max movie from George Miller, it'd be cool if Hugo Weaving could get a role. That's what I want after being reminded of their previous collaborations.
