Super late to the minecraft party, but I just bought it on xbla and yeah, I'm addicted. Does anyone have any recommendations for a great free minecraft clone for the PC when my TV is occupied by the wife and kids?

context matters. notch has been cool on piracy and since the op already bought the game, i don't think he should have to pay more money just to have the opportunity to play it on a different platform. but that's me.

Like others have said though, there is still a free version or if you're really desperate there's a cheaper mobile version.

I wouldn't the PC version but I'm not big on double dipping, nor will I pirate. I may be cheap (see double dipping), but not cheap enough to pirate... Playing an outright ripoff is ok though, I do have Angry Birds installed on my cell afterall.

Constantly updated, huge community, nods and texture packs, multiplayer that will blow your mind compared to the XBLA version.

damn that's classy as hell. glad you got it. in my opinion more fun that xbox version, although i wish i could use my gamepad now that im used to it. i try to play with my kids online. they love it.
