Limbo doesn't count?
Yeah it does. Looks great. Fantastic atmosphere.

Limbo? Braid?
I don't know if these qualify but I love their art styles.
My two top choices are Cuphead and Broken Age.
I love old cartoons and Cuphead does a really good job at replicating that style.
All computer images are pixel-based.

Aren't all of these games pixel-based?
If only Nintendo would make a 2D (non-polygonal) Mario platforming game for the Wii U.
With a hand drawn style. Man. Would be so so good.
Kirby's Epic Yarn
Have you seen Rain World? Pixel art but has some really fluid smooth animationsthis is something im constantly trying to figure out. i HATE 2d pixel gamesart styles. there are a couple that succeed despite it but by and large, it'll turn me off right away. my favs so far have been Dust and Trine. and wow that trine2 screen from above looks amazing. bastion was pretty good. braid was nice. i really liked the way shank was done but a large part of that was the fluidity of the animations more than the art style.

Nin2Jump 360 XBLA (has a quirky Japanese shadow puppet play theme to it)
