Asura's Wrath is some Gurren Lagann level final boss shit.
There was a time where I wasn't a huge Metroid fan, and I had a friend of mine say this to me about Samus Aran;
"Samus is awesome. I mean she goes to a planet with one gun, and then leaves the planet as it's blowing up."
If you want to debate the actual strongest nintendo character, it has to be between a character from xenoblade, arceus, or rosalina, rosalina LITERALLY REBOOTS MARIO GALAXY MAKING MARIO GALAXY 2 WHICH IS JUST MARIO GALAXY 1 REBOOTED WITH ROSALINA BEING ALL MYSTERIOUS AND GODLY AT THE ENDSamus is the strongest nintendo character no question. She doesn't have anything overly crazy in her arsenal, but she kills everything she meets anyway and destroys their house and all their friends just to rub it in.
Now this is a fight I would pay money to see.
I agree, Kratos is one powerful dude, but this GIF is notably terrible at illustrating that. He's struggling to rip the head off. That's not powerful.
I was thinking about Sephiroth's Supernova, but playable character...
How about withstanding Sephiroth's Supernova? lol
A certain commander sacrificed their self for the salvation of all life across the galaxy by choosing their favourite primary colour.
In XenobladeShulk kills the last god of his world and uses A.L.V.I.S. (the true Monado) to recreate the universe, ending the cycle Zanza put it in and achieving true free will for all beings. Then he gives up his newly-won godhood to live a humble life as a human.
This is what I had in mind.
Killing gods is all well and good, but destroying your soulmate and the concept of love itself is much more powerful.
Not if you agree to be her slave ha!
You fight a 1,000 year old demon with your feet
Yeah, it's hard to deny that the cosmic royal family toys with the universe a little too effortlessly. Half the time the stories amount to 'Oops, I fucked up everything in existence. Fix it before lunch, please."Moved the Earth around the solar system until it hits a large enough accumulated mass to consume the Sun. By hand.
(We Love Katamari)
Sometimes i wonder if the writers of such stories take themselves seriously. The Demi-Fiend kills Kagutsuchi, the avatar of the Great Will who controls the cycle of death and rebirth, and in doing so annihilates the entire multiverse and the concept of time itself. Then he leads an army of demons into battle against the Great Will itself.
Pretentious answer

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne
The Demi-Fiend kills Kagutsuchi, the avatar of the Great Will who controls the cycle of death and rebirth, and in doing so annihilates the entire multiverse and the concept of time itself. Then he leads an army of demons into battle against the Great Will itself.
To be fair, though,ALVIS does all the actual work. Shulk just asks.
Does this count? From FFVIII:
You can summon Eden, a gigantic Garden thing that blasts the enemy into space with hyper speed only to collide with a black hole.
1.HUGE Bayonetta 1 spoilers:
You end up using your hair to punch God/a god into the sun.
