Actually, I think the colouring is what ruined it? His eyes are actually closed shut, but the colouring makes it look like he has bizarro-eyes which are actually below his real ones and gives him such a derpy expression.

And what Hot Topic you went into that has anything looking like Batgirl's costume in it? It's T-shirts and knick-knacks and footie pajamas and hoodies and novelty calendars and overpriced vinyl right next to 12x12 picture frames to place the overpriced vinyl you'll never play on a turntable.
"It looks like Hot Topic" is not only inaccurate, it's just an empty criticism.
It's a cool, practical superhero costume design - but it doesn't look like something you can grab off the racks at any Hot Topic I've ever been to.

Yeah, that makes sense... I could see that. The mangled jello fist on the side still remains though.
Even the sound effect is a bit weird, I thought normally a THUD is used instead of just THD.

The Kuato is emerging from his left hand. The right hand is the one that it took me awhile to even recognize as his right hand, the one The Beard says looks kinda like a drillbit.

You can also find similar leather jackets and boots ANYWHERE. The point in calling out "Hot Topic" has nothing to do with going into a Hot Topic, of course, but it's a means to get at the teen-girl nature of the character without out and out saying "ewww girls"

I see a faint contour that suggests a nipple but I'm not going to give it to her. She and George left Robin out in the cold. You can tell he's cold.
The point is she looks like she's wearing cheap clothes she bought some place like Hot Topic.

Eh, I dont love it, I dont hate it. But my criticism would be:
-That mask doesnt really conceal her identity very well, maybe some thing covering the eyes a bit more?
-Her suit just kinda looks like off the shelf clothing with the exception of the color pallet. No protection or anything. Overall it just doesnt look very.....special. Some people like the more realistic looking suits but personally I just want the suits to look awesome in print, on screen, or where ever.
Again, not an awful design in my eyes just not my cup-o-tea.
