What is/was the worst third party accessory company?

I have to put my vote for Intec. When I was working as a video game store manager, I remember betting with my employees on how many days it would take to get the accessory back as defective. We were doing anything we could to sell the less Intec products possible because we knew the customer would be back a couple of days later, angry. Never understood why people were attracted to these shitty products (the price, I know, I know). Item design was as bad as the packaging design, it was almost like buying a piece of turd.

Do you have horror stories on bad third party accessories? Come on, you know you had a couple of guitars fail on you! ;)

I used to think it was Madcatz because their stuff looked cheap compared to the first party stuff but then I bought a tournament edition stick and wow are they amazing.

I remember buying a Dreamcast at launch and being forced to get a bundle if I wanted the Dreamcast at all. I didn't mind getting a bundle since I wanted a couple of games, controllers and VMU's anyways. The bundle included a third party controller by Madcatz. The dpad was made of a soft rubber-y material that wore down to a nub in about two weeks. I never bought another third party peripheral after that.

The SpeedBoard

It's a chunk of plastic, the "idea" was that by using only the fingers you could increase the speed of the game ..... yeah whatever.

Mad Catz used to be pretty terrible. I remember having Nyko memory cards for the GameCube and they would ALWAYS get corrupted after a while.
