Corvette ZR1, I'm a sucker for American cars and this is the most awesome American car available at the moment. Had the privilege to drive one for about an hour and it was the best hour ever, so much fun, so batshit insane.

And for the weekends a Ferrari 458 Spider, soooooo purdy and technically so insane it hurts my face.

Yep. The 911 is a completely attainable car and it's a great dream/goal car, but when you're talking dream cars I mean...come on.

Might as well dream big, I know.

While there isn't a car in the world I'd take over a Pagani, I'll admit that the Carrera GT is one of the few that would give me a second or two of hesitation.

I'm planning on getting a Lotus Elise eventually, might be a decade from now. Not as exciting as a Ferrari or supercar or whatever, but I'll realistically be able to own one. If I could choose any car to own I think it'd be a V12 Vantage, but the Elise is fun car that isn't so ridiculously expensive.

I have several cars on top of my head that I like to own but if there is one car that I known that is super-duper rare to own. It has to be the remake of the Lancia Stratos, so sexy.

Edit: Definitely like your choices Lumix, especially that Mercedes!!!

Because it's not a 911? The 911 is the one with all the heritage. The Carrera GT might be a more 'super' Porsche, but that doesn't make it necessarily more desirable.

What's funny is that I entirely agree with you. I had a 996 for a while and, if I lived in an area without potholes every twenty feet like I did when I had it, I would have been satisfied with that car forever. The Carrera GT is just the most mental that Porsche ever went and it gets me all jumbly inside.

That's why I said the 911 is a more attainable dream/goal car, but if I were given the option of owning a car free of charge it would be the CGT every time.

It is an awesome car. I remember reading an article about it a few years ago.
It sucks Ferrari wouldn't give Pininfarina the green light to produce it.

Ferrari Testarossa for me.

These cars are very affordable now, 40-50k, but I hear the maintenance costs are stratospheric. $10,000 major service etc.

A car in the Speed Racer universe where when you get into an accident you and your passengers are encapsulated into a bubble and safely plopped into a clear area.

Dream car.

For me, the older Chevy Impalas were always my favorite car, then Supernatural came along and made an Impala the most important object in the universe, therefor my answer is this:

Bonus: Do you own your dream car already? I sure don't. T_T

The Supernatural 67 Impala would genuinely be my answer also. I'd take it over any exotic sports car without a hesitation.

or a '69 Chevelle. Those late 60s muscle cars (especially Chevys) were amazing. They're absolutely obtainable too if you get lucky looking, go clone route, or go to an auction.

Reventon Roadster.

But I'll never own one. Even if I had the money, it'd likely be impossible to find someone willing to sell :(

Dream car that might actually be in the realm of me possibly owning when I'm old/retired? '67 "Eleanor" Mustang:
