What is your favorite Zelda overworld?

That just makes you a vocal minority.

Even if like OoT, you still should be able to admit the overworld was weak. I mean, it was a small in comparison to the other Zeldas mostly barren hub world, that's the truth. I love OoT, but the overworld was very limited by N64 technology at the time.

A Link to the Past or Oracle of Ages.

Majora's Mask has one of the best worlds as far as theme and atmosphere go, but I feel like its design is almost a cop-out. It's just a giant circle with a town in the center. Sure, it helps to point out that Clock Town and its fate are at the center of the game, but still. MM has one of the laziest world maps in the series. I feel similarly about Twilight Princess, except in an almost opposite way - TP's overworld is too bloated. So much empty space! Too much empty space. I feel like TP's Hyrule Field should have been condensed a bit.

OoA oozes atmosphere, both overall and for each area. I loved going from the present to the past and back again. Same with LttP and its light and dark worlds.

Imagine a 3D game in Labrynna. Oh man.

I honestly don't get how SS isn't mentioned more. I mean really now its overworld was really innovative (and no, the overworld is not just the sky).

I would vote WW though, the sea was outstanding IMO.

My man. I 100% agree. SS's locales are some of the absolute best. Lanayru Desert, especially. The timeshift stone mechanic worked perfectly with its backstory.

That feeling when you shift back to the present, the little gizmo dudes die, and the music gets all depressing again... :(

Perfect.

I love SS, but the problem with its overworld (for me anyway) is that it's all seperate areas. The individual areas are masterfully designed and if they managed to make every area interconnected it would rate highly indeed. As it is, it's too fragmented and you unlock new parts by simply going through the very linear story; there's no sense of adventure or discovery.
