10 years is still in the next generation. I guess we will be looking at "Pro" consoles and some outrageously priced GPU.

I kinds hope nintendo joins in on pc and I can have everything in one place. Consoles still derserve a place in the market but with so many Console benefits gone I would prefer to just have one platform.

Ultimately, I think everything is pointing to a massive consolidation, (it seems Microsoft is in a hurry to get there) all that will be left is pc with the option to stream from the cloud to other devices. Maybe Nintendo will never give in however and it will PC and Nintendo.

Not in 10 years, but definetely where things are ultimately heading towards. And MS is trying its best to accelerate the process while positioning itself as the uncontested leader by a mile as far as AA and AAA games are concerned. The remaining will be indy games running natively on PC home hardware with development costs coming from Kickstarter campaigns.
