Gengar with dream eater and hypnosis. Helps with insomnia and bad dreams depending on what's the biggest problem at the time.

Also they're big and soft enough to hug and can keep you cool in summer.

If legendaries are out of the equation I would choose Eevee, for sure. It's like a mix between a cat and dog! If legendaries are acceptable, though, I would go with my main man Mew, any day.
