Any chance we can have the MLB thread moved temporarily to the top of the Gaming-Forum? Tonight is the All-Star game, and it sucks that we won't able to have in game commentary on it while it's going on. We're a small group, so it's not like we're going to put a strain on the server or anything. The game should be over before the conference begins. :x

Besides, no one is using the Killzone 2 thread to talk about Killzone 2 anymore. Now it's just funny pictures and people talking about how surprising the thread is. It's broken the 4th wall and become sentient.
 
Mods, this isn't fair. You need to close the gaming section during... well during sometime. Like thanksgiving. It's a very busy day in the OT.

Edit: I know Foob! Isn't it? I was walking around a used record store and they started playing it. So good. I also got a 180 gram "Hissing Fauna Are You the Destroyer?" by Of Montreal and a David Bowie Matte. It was an awesome night for music.

Oddly enough, that's what I've been listening to mostly today. And agreed, it rocks plenty. It's no Gimme Fiction, but definitely a great album. I've also ordered it to come in from Amazon, bundled with the new White Stripes. Woo.

I hope the media will be on Man utds ass this year for wasting soo much cash, they didn't let chelsea and mourinho alone, let's see what happens now.

I think if we have such "megaton" announcements like a measly pricedrop that was revealed a week ago on CAG that we need to close the entire OT then we should also make the site members only for the week.

Personally, I prefer it to Gimme Fiction. My favorite is Girls Can Tell, but yeah I am really diggin' this. The bonus disc is a nice freebie, too.

IIRC, an admin said something about 'guest views' doing nothing to add-to the strain on GAF's servers.

What's on the bonus disc? I should be getting mine in the mail by the end of this or early next week.

Spoon is one of those bands I really wish I had gotten into earlier. I've got Kill the Moonlight, Girls Can Tell, and the last 2 discs on my computer, but there's apparently a lot more to their back catalogue.

I'm surprised as well; just as I was about to post a snarky response in the pictures thread.

They haven't locked out non-members, yet, so I guess Killzone 2 isn't that huge of a deal like we thought it would be.
