I need this. It's a conversation starter.
you strike me more of a paul smith pinup wallet type of guy (one of many variations)

I've just got a plain, solid, black leather bifold. It's good, I guess. I've never had complaints, and it's always so satisfying to flip it closed with one hand after putting my credit card back in.

However, I also saw a really nice wallet in brown leather at my college and made a comment about liking it so I ended up getting it as a gift. Thing is, I don't like it that much that I want to switch. Plus it's a trifold, bleh.

Unless you live in some crime infested post apocalyptic hellhole filled with roving bands of killers and mutated eye socket raping death priests (or if you live in Detroit) you really don't need to do this. Chances are low it will ever be anything more than an extra pain in the ass for you to carry around. And regardless, it encourages you to treat life from the perspective of a scared little child every time you walk out the door.

It seems my lighthearted curiosity struck a deep nerve with you.

Now I'm going to make two novelty wallets and carry them at all times.

I have a crabby wallet from Kickstarter. It works pretty well, you just have to make good decisions on which cards you want on hand. I used to have a wallet thick of credit cards and rewards cards that i only occasionally used, and I'm glad i made the switch.

I need something thin like this but with RFID blocking.

Not sure how you got "struck a deep nerve" from a clearly silly response detailing roaming bands of death priests raping people's eyes, but go you, do your thang. And good luck with the whole not being afraid of life thing.

I'm glad you know so much about me. :)

Coach Slim Card Case:

Going to replace the Coach card case with something else though.

Coach wallet is solid, but I have noticed my CC in the front pocket has worn out a bit. Takes a while to break in the card holder, but it wears nicely. Money clip on the back too is dandy.

Still got this red JFold wallet. I like it, had it probably since around 2008/2009, and will still have it for many years to come since I have another one still packed in its box somewhere.

Me too! I bought mine a good 14 years ago from
Hot Topic.
It's beat, the zipper for the coin slot in the back is completely torn, and the velcro doesn't close properly anymore, but I still use it to this day.

My friends sometimes give me shit for not moving on to a big-boy wallet yet, but, for whatever reason, I can't seem to bring myself to throw it away.

I use one of these. Carries my ID, roadside assistance card, a debit and a credit card. I don't carry cash, and if i do, which is rare, i usually just stick it in a pocket. It has a VERY slim profile. I can't imagine ever going back to a normal wallet.

bought it at walmart for cheap.
chain is solid but the "leather" is weak as hell. ripped off parts of it after a couple of weeks.

and yes, I need a chained wallet(for security reasons).

My wallet doesn't seem to exist when image searching. It's just an old simple brown wallet, with the Yves Saint Laurent symbol imprinted in the middle. I have to replace it soon since the plastic is all torn off, and parts of it are in tatters...

Calvin Klein bi-fold leather wallet.

My first and only "adult" wallet, since my barbed wire hot topic wallet didn't match my suits.
I also have about 6 different Ninja Turtle wallets I don't use. Damn you hot topic.

Mine is just a simple card-size pouch with zipper, similar to this:

It took me like 10 years to realise I hate wallets, opening them up, pulling out the right card, folding notes up in that wide pocket, coins falling through the inevitable gap worn into the centre fold....

Give me a simple pouch to just shove it all in without thinking about it any day.

I got one of these as a gift, like 7-8 years ago.
It started falling apart recently, and above all it makes me look stupid, so I think its about time to get a real grown up wallet.

A Coach wallet and money clip that my wife gave me a few years ago. The wallet's actually sustained a lot of abuse, so I'm surprised that it's lasted as long as it has, and the money clip's been washed in the washer a number of times. The leather is still in good condition and the stitching has never frayed, so I've never bothered replacing them with something more "updated". I have looked at the obtainium wallet that Phat Michael (RIP in peace) mentioned a few times, but never purchased one simply because the items I have are just fine for me.

I use the Bellroy Slim Sleeve Wallet, I've had it for 2 years now and it has held up extremely well. I really really love it and if this one ever gets worn enough to replace my next wallet will also be a Bellroy.

I stopped using a wallet after sitting on it all day was giving me back problems. Now I simply carry three cards in my back pocket. My CC, debit, and drivers license is all I need for 95% of my life. It sure would be nice if Google Wallet came to Canada though.

My previous wallet was just some cheap whatever thing from Sears. It lasted me 10+ years.

Dosh and because of GAF's recommendation on it.

Tired of my leather money clips not lasting more than a year. This has lasted me 3 so far, still going strong.

Oh man I love this. Dosh. gonna make a note of this guy with the holidays coming up.

Love minimal wallets. as small and as little as possible because i am a front-pocket guy.

also a big fan of http://capsulewallets.com/

Wanted less focus of card spots and a friendly billfold style cash layout, not creased and tucked into pockets or a clip. Had to order from the UK.

empty it is 3.35 oz
my leather billfold is 1.80 oz

With the stuff in it 4.83 oz
13 bills, quarter, penny, 2 plastic cards, 3 paper cards, sheet of paper, tiny pen
