What was the best Disney game?

There are certainly a lot of contenders to choose from in Disney's lengthy catalogue of video games, including several classics, but what do you think is the best and why? Both in game quality and in capturing that Disney spirit?
Here are a few suggestions:

Kingdom Hearts II, of course. The music, the voice acting, the gameplay...

The game wasn't perfect but it was an amazing experience overall.

Difficult, most of the Capcom and Sega games were really solid.

I want to say Quackshot. Got some real fond memories of Castle of Illusion as well as it was the first MegaDrive game I played IIRC, but World of Illusion is probably the better game.

Kingdom Hearts I or II, but honorable mention to...

The Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse

Maybe my most replayed SNES game period. Helps that it wasn't long, but I played this game so many times as a kid.

Why is Epic Mickey in the OP? It's terribly mediocre. A great premise alone isn't enough to make a game good.

And SNES Aladdin is in OP too, but not the Mega Drive/Genesis one, which was vastly superior? Come on.

Anyway, this is somewhere up there.

Kingdom hearts feels like cheating.
Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue

This is the one I played and liked the most.
Gotta pick this on epurely from it being one of my childhood games plus I love toy story so much.

Really neat 3d platformer, especially for a licensed game.

World of Illusion

and

Donald in Maui Mallard which is the best Disney game ever.

Came in here to post exactly this. :D

Did you play it on SNES or MegaDrive / Genesis? Because, after looking up Maui Mallard on YouTube, there seem to be quite a few differences between the two versions;
Level design, music and even the title screen.

"World of Illusion" for the Sega Mega Drive. One of the best 2P Co-op games!
Yeah, as the only Disney game with co-op that I played in the past this one edges out for me. (Never really got to try Chip 'n Dale).

Besides that I have a huge soft spot for Ducktales 2 gameplay-wise. Secret area within a secret area within a secret area... *mindblowb*.

As for capturing the spirit, SNES Aladdin's tombe stages freaked me out when playing it as a child as much as it did watching those parts of the movie :P

Another special mention to Darkwing Duck for being a fun Mega Man-like action platformer.

Disney Infinity. The sheer number of properties and game modes is mind boggling.
It can do nearly anything and while it's not going to redefine any genres it does many of them quite well.

Prolly any of the Kingdom Hearts titles. All rest seem pretty lame in comparison, or maybe even on their own they were pretty meh. I love Disney, but most of the games based on their IP seem average at best.

Quackshot is in my top five games ever. I love it so much. It's one of the few games I go back to regularly.

World of Illusion is pretty fantastic too. I played that a ton as a child. The stages were so different and the art style was wonderful.

The magical quest trilogy
Goof Troop
Aladdin
Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow

All for the SNES

Not that the NES capcom games were bad tho.

I believe they changed the name/title screen for the genesis because the Snes game was touted as only for Nintendo.

But i did love the fact that the Genesis version was more outspoken about the game being about Donald Duck taking the role of Maui Mallard in a movie (with bonus stages taking place behind the scenes)

Oh man, this is tough. A lot of the best are in the OP, although I'm sad to say I missed a few.

The Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse
DuckTales
Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers
Aladdin
The Lion King
Goof Troop
Kingdom Hearts

Very underrated:

Toy Story 3
Cars 2

The original is better but I enjoyed the hell out of the Ducktales remake.

Absolutely beautiful, and still a blast to play aside from the endless cutscenes (props for getting the original voices but jesus christ there were so many of them). I wish they did more of them after this but I guess none have been announced.

As for an older game, nobody is going to name this as one of the good ones (those, like Aladdin and Lion King, have already been mentioned), but I was obsessed with Pinochio for the Game Boy when I was a kid. It probably hasn't held up but I'm not going to tempt fate and try it out again.

As well as Timon & Pumbaa Jungle Games:

And Hercules (I couldn't imagine games looking that good back then):

The pinball in Jungle Games was the first pinball game to really hook me

Kingdom Hearts II. The NES/SNES and Genesis games just don't have the depth and they're all very short. They were really fun back in their time though.
